Just a thought, and this by no means is a positive post about Quixtar.
I do see a few companies having a teen oriented site like this, but pay out points to purchase other stuff (ie referral bonuses) because they can't pay kids 18 or younger commissions.
Could this in fact be something like that?
The kids can create their own community of friends, and refer people and then get credit via shopping points.
Burn lounge an almost launched music community will have the same concept.
Just my 2 pennies.
