MLM Critics Debate

Posted on 14. Sep, 2005 by Ty Tribble in Network Marketing - MLM

Asingleredrose MLM Critics were recently overheard debating whether or not "Roses Are Red". Long time critic, Mr. Not-Gonna-Ever-Believe-A-Thing, stated, "Another round of information claiming that roses are red and I don't believe it."

Mr. Not-Gonna-Ever-Believe-A-Thing was then shown a color wheel clearly showing the roses are indeed red. Another critic Mr. PWWWWWW, pointed out that the color wheel was "outdated and unverifyable", then requested to see the color wheel's Schedule C.Colorwheel

No news on whether the MLM Critics have accepted that the earth is round yet.

I didn't know feelings could cry.

This post is a simple shot at critics.

One critic will bust your chops for not pushing retail while the other will make a smart ass coment about selling door to door. It's a no win situtation…

    I agree. MLM is a no-win situation . . .

    . . . for the distributor force, anyway. ;?)

No, trying to dialogue with folks that are so set on their agenda that they are unwilling to consider another's viewpoint is no win.

I've considered your point of view. We've had many engaging conversations about MLM. I disagree with you and believe I have articulated a convincing explanation as to why MLM in any form is a viable "business opportunity" for most of the people thinking about becoming distributors.

You've chosen not to respond to any of that articulated explanation and instead paint people who disagree with you as zealots. For your own personal psychological benefit, that approach gives you an excuse to not have to answer legitimate questions and criticism. But in fact, it only serves to underscore the very criticisms being made of MLM.

By the way, I meant "NOT a viable 'business opportunity' for most" people.

The problem with your blog post is that it sets up a strawman so you can hold a mock debate and declare victory.

It's a pretty low rent tactic. Which is why I posted a comment.

    Again…

"One critic will bust your chops for not pushing retail while the other will make a smart ass comment about selling door to door."

I have put forth great effort in the past to listen to (and learn from) critics, however it is apparent that some just want to be asses and others will never be satisfied.

In the same manner that some pro mlm-ers are scammers, some mlm critics are ZEALOTS.

As for this post, it's called satire, but perhaps it is too close to the truth to be funny for some.

It isn't satire. It's sour grapes. You posted right after dropping out of a debate where some tough questions were asked over at the QBlog forum.

Well, here's the debate you fled from. Let your readers decide what the truth is.

I think the readers will see exactly what I was writing about.

By the way, it wasn't a debate. It's one guy that has nothing better to do than criticize everything related to Passport (including retail sales of real products and Podcasting) and another guy named "MLMSCAM" (like his mind isn't made up).

I don't have the time, patience or energy to participate in a thread of this type.

Nice going pal! You are making fun of yourself by shedding light on those 'critics'. Former is a troll F.Y.I.

You are predident of a company and paying so much attention to that troll non-believer. That is telling.

Frankly, I'm dissapointed. You want a debate, link & trackback lawBlawg or quixtarBlog or Tim and discuss about it. It will give you more traffic.
