To Everyone Else: I've spent enough time educating everyone. It boils down to this: you can accomplish anything if you Believe in what you're doing, and you back it up with Commitment through Persistent and Consistent Effort. If you're a negative person, you can find something negative about anything, and criticize it. If you're a positive person, you'll find positive things, and eliminate distractions. It's impossible to be successful at something if you quit before you reach the finish line. This is especially a bad decision when others have already shown you that the goal is attainable, and not impossible. It doesn't matter how long something takes for you to accomplish if the end result is worth the wait. It is sad for you and your family if you give up a 'great'(money+time to enjoy it) life for a 'good'(money+little time to enjoy it) life. These statements apply to anything in life, not just a particular business venture. For me personally, a 'good' life, with 40+ years of working 40+hours/week just wasn't for me. It may seem like the way to go, but not if you have a BIG DREAM, and want to spend the most time with the people you love, doing the things that make you happy. I hope this helps someone.

To David May 23: Unless you bought absolutely Nothing before you got into the biz., I'm not sure how you count buying products that you need for you household monthly, regardless, as an expense. The other investments you mentioned are optional, and designed to help you make money faster if you listen. But for sake of discussion, lets say you were right about the money you spent or invested depending on whether you were listening/applying the information; have you ever ran a traditional business? Pick your favorite business that you frequent a lot, ask the manager/owner if they are able to spend "$500/month", and make 6 figures, or millions as a return on their investment. I seriously DOUBT it. Let's look at the numbers on some other franchises. One of the cheapest ones is a subway, and it only cost you about $150,000 upfront, and something like McDonalds costs you $1 Million+. Do you have that laying around in the bank with nothing else to spend it on before you even open the biz? And yes, you can reach people in any environment. It's just a bonus to do it, and make money.
Lisa, June 20 is right.

To Marc, Apr. 19: Not sure what you're trying to imply with this Bible verse, but it doesn't describe Larry Winters and the LTD Team. Maybe you found this verse because you needed to read it for your own life; 10 Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals-these are the very things that destroy them.

It sounds like You are trying to speak "abusively" against Larry Winters. Where has it gotten you in life and how has it helped you in your 'spiritual walk' since you read the Bible?

To PleasePleasePlease: In anything, it's hard for a person, biz, entity to be highly successful without someone saying something negative about you. That's just the nature of people. You have to decide, is that my personal experience, or is this source truly reliable. I'm sure you've shopped at Wal-Mart before; do you think someone has ever written something bad about Wal-Mart before or sued them? Yes, but is that your experience with Wal-Mart, and do you continue to shop there?

Jakers, Aug.13 is right. To Dave, March 29: Larry isn't conceited, and his heart isn't focused on the material things. He shows you his lifestyle because there are people that want to know, if I put the effort into this biz, what kind of lifestyle can I have? You may not like the things he likes, or horses like his wife; but if they can buy things that they enjoy, maybe you can buy things that you and your family enjoy. And to your comment about, people don't need all that money; that sounds like a selfish comment even though you didn't intend it to be. What if you personally make $1Million dollars/year; why don't you live off 10% of it, since you don't need it, and donate the other 90% to people that need it like churches, charities, or worthy causes. Which is more selfish, what I just said, or making $50K/year at a job, and living on a $60K/year budget? Isn't that what about 95% of people are doing, living in debt, meaning they spend more on themselves than they make? You need to know how much Larry Winters donates and helps people before you make a statement like that. Also there's about 360 million people in America alone. The biz. is worldwide. Everyone won't do it. Not worried about saturation.

James, May 1 is right. Dave, Sept.8 is right. Ryan, Sept.11 is right. To the people that lost money in the business: I'm not sure why you lost so much money, or went into credit debt, etc; The biz is designed to run on a shoe-string budget. For products, you buy things that you normally 'spend' money on at other stores regardless of whether you're in the biz or not. Other than that, anything I buy is within my budget; my upline never recommended that I get a biz loan or put things on a credit card that I couldn't afford. Perhaps if you lost money, or went into debt, it's because you didn't fix your household budget. Regardless of how much money you make at your job or any biz., you have to budget. You can have a job, and go broke on beer, cigs., gambling, cable tv, etc. Of course those things don't get you anywhere 'successful' in life.
To Vernon_Meyer, Feb. 4: When a music artist makes a CD, and people buy it; does the artist make money? Hmm, my guess is YES. After we listen to the music, does it provide us with information that will make us money or help us achieve our dreams, make us a better person, etc? My guess is NO. Yet, you have no problem with a music artist making a CD, and getting lots, or even a little money from it; why is that? But you have a problem with someone making money from a CD designed to help people in their life. Doesn't make sense. i don't know about you, but I don't have musical talent so I don't have the optional of making money from a music CD; but it should excite you that you could say something of value to help people, and make money doing it. You do know that you had the same opportunity to do so, right? I mean, I don't know where you work, but I hope they do pay you when you 'do' something. I hope thats how things still work, or should we 'do' everything for free in life.

To Ty March 21: Corporate Leadership-The company is run by at least 13 multi-millionaire couples(LTD Team) with numerous years of experience; all whom started at the same position each person would start at.
- Product-The supplier is Amway who provided products world-wide for 50+years. A company doesn't last 50 years with bad products.
- Field Leadership-There are weekly training classes available in all 50 states, and in multiple cities in most cases/state. Upline sponsors will help you all along the way, even in the 'field'.
- Compensation-The highest compensation plan of any MLM. You don't have to go Diamond to make enough money to live on. For example, 50k-80K well before you go Diamond.
- Timing-No better time. The economy is bad, and people are losing there corporate, traditional jobs. So many people are unemployed and don't know what to do.
Sounds like a great business to be a part of. I'm sure there are other good MLM businesses out there as well. If they provide the things TY mentioned, go for it.

To True Lies-Aug. 24 Greg Francis didn't start the business with "great charisma". He changed his life by listening to men who had great character, reading books, and listening to CDs. Isn't that how anyone becomes something that they weren't before? If you want to be a doctor, you listen to current good doctors, read books on the subject, and other learning tools, classes, etc. That's what Greg Francis did in the Amway business. Side note: He went Diamond and above in a total of about 6 years. For those that don't know, that's at least a high 6-figure income yearly, willable to 2 generations.
A quote from TrueLies: "While on his team I saw people with absolute zero business sense or communication abilities get lucky and go 4000 PV, while business profesionals with a high level of intelligence couldn't sponsor one solid person." Even though TrueLies was trying to bash the Amway business, he told you why it's a great business. ANYONE, that wants to can do it. He told you he personally saw people with zero business sense/communication abilities make money. I can tell you why his statement sounds true to me because those people listened to their upline, and allowed them to help them make money. Highly educated people tend to think they know everything, and have a hard time listening, which is why he saw them make no money. I, however do have a 4-year degree, and don't have a problem listening to someone that has something I want. Thanks TrueLies for being a negative person about Amway that still proves the business works. I would like to hear what TrueLies thinks about college degrees in today's economy.

How anyone can spend $20,000 in three years and not start making an income is ludicrous. This is the BEST BUSINESS PLAN on the planet. Larry Winters & ALL the way up to Yager and back DOWN to our sponsorship in Australia ROCK - They are people with the utmost integrity and if I have to make money from people signing up to the system and learning how to be the greatest they can be then SO BE IT - don't we all want the BEST out of this short life - LET'S LIVE IT- LIVE THE DREAM. The only negativity I ever hear comes from the LOSERS who don't have the guts to hang around long enough to make it work - READ A BOOK, CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE AND GET A PERSONALITY Hey that might just work!!

**The only way anyone would say that Amway has the best business plan is someone who has not looked at any business plan outside of Amway. - ed**

I used to be a devoted part of Larry's team.
I am not any longer for various reasons. #1 lack of support/ almost never getting a call back from my active upline when I needed something. I feel this is a reasonable request from a business partner, especially one who had been loyal for years.

However I can honestly say that the then Britt, Miller and Winters team system was an incredible program that was still a positive experience for me and my family. I would not trade that time for anything else and would certainly do it all over again.

Bill Britt is a genius, Paul Miller is an incredible & loyal human being, and Larry also is probably the greatest teacher I have ever studied with in my life. Too bad Larry either did not have or do not display the heart I have seen displayed from some others.

I still feel I owe Larry much and will forever be grateful for the things he did contribute to me and the encouragement I received from He and Pam at certain times.

It is the little foxes that spoil, proverbs says and sometimes we can have many things in our lives correct but it is usually some attitude we cannot see that can destroy our lives.

I would encourage anyone to get involved in network marketing as it has saved my life in many ways, just be sure to look for support and brains from those you are getting with. One alone is not usually enough to have things go as they should, so look for brains and heart.

Thank you Bill, Paul, and Larry and Pam for everything. God bless...
