&lt;p&gt;I think this letter from Jim Payne to Platinums means a lot more than the face value. It is Quixtar communicating with the Platinums. I can almost say for certain that in the 90&#039;s this letter would have gone out to Diamonds and above (not Platinums) and no one below them would have seen the actual letter. They would have gotten the &quot;spin&quot; by voicemail.&lt;/p&gt;
