But don't be fooled into thinking this is just a hobby for a bunch of bored wives. There are plenty of folks pulling in six digits while being able to set their own hours and sell a product they absolutely love goods that that might even be connected to a favorite hobby.
But even if setting your own hours and selling a product you love sounds perfect, keep in mind that according to the Direct Selling Association, the most popular reason people choose direct selling is because it's a good way to meet and socialize with people.
