ChristiaNet.com, the world's largest Christian portal with twelve million monthly page loads, asked readers, "Should Christians be involved in MLMs?" The majority of participants were unsure about this question, mainly because they didn't know what the term stands for. Out of 180 readers polled, 140 asked, "What is an MLM?" The basic concept of many multi level marketing opportunities is based upon recruiting others, while the distributors in the chain of the recruit receive commissions off of their sales or purchases of product. Oftentimes it seems like the main goal to make a lot of money is in the recruiting of others instead of the selling of product.
