In August, supervisors expressed concerns that the ordinance was outdated and unfairly preventing some businesses from operating in the home. As written, the regulations (for instance) did not allow the likes of Mary Kay or Avon cosmetics' salespeople to conduct business from their residence, but at the same time gave an attorney the ability to hold consultations with clients in the home.
