Starting a job with a multi-level marketing company selling cosmetics, cutlery and insurance plans directly to consumers usually requires initial fees and self-discipline, but can be a viable option for cash-starved students.
“They are good for students because they provide a lot better pay than just a normal part-time job,” said Ricardo Martinez, an entrepreneurship extension agent at the University of Florida's extension education division in Broward County.
