The bonuses which are paid for helping others attain specific levels of business are paid based on how many months in the &quot;performance year&quot; timeframe those people qualify at those levels. Alticor changed their accounting year from Sept. - August to Jan - Dec but did not change the performance year. &lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;What in the world is a &quot;performance year&quot; (as in the Alticor press release).  It is either a fiscal year or calendar year.  I think maybe this is a slight of word choice to include the last quarter of 2005 to make the numbers look better.&lt;/p&gt;
