Standing in front of a table packed with pheromone-infused gels, lotions and powders, in a room decorated in a Valentine's Day theme, Patti Gordon picked up a small bell.
"Do I have to do this already?" she asked, as she rang the bell to get the attention of the 15 or so women who were laughing, talking and swilling chocolate martinis in a west Eugene home.
They quieted down and allowed Gordon to continue her Passion Parties presentation featuring products designed to amp up excitement in the bedroom. Gordon delivered her top five list for why someone would want to be at one of her parties.
"And the No. 1 reason why you would want to attend a Passion Party," she said with a coy grin, "is so you do not have to walk into your local adult store and ask the pierced and tattooed guy behind the counter what you can buy ..."
The women exploded in laughter.
