One Company Bans The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing After 1 Week

It looks like one company has already banned Ann Sieg's 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing.

I am waiting to see if anyone will talk about this on the record.  I have seen one elaborate Ann Sieg hate site that was obviously put together by someone close to that company.

    The company is Leaders Club, as my 2nd paragraph suggests, I am waiting to hear back from a couple of people before I let loose with more details.

    Just because everyone drives a car, why does the auto industry go bonkers when the idea of riding a motorcycle or bicycle as an alternative scare them?

    Because they fear a trend may be set and they'll lose their base.

    Hogwash.

    Most networking marketing companies copy the standard training of attending events that are costly to new associates, advertising that "anyone can do this," "no sales background needed," and "we don't sell – we share."

    I would argue that meetings and events are good for training, camaraderie and networking, yet they aren't necessarily good for everyone. However, if someone is new and short of funds, or feels their time is better spent on sales, why attend? Most companies promote events like they are mandatory for success.

    Ann offers a good argument that these functions are expensive, and ignore how to get prospects to come to you – rather than you drag them in for something they may not want.

    A great business and product that I promote has been guilty of the "7 Lies", as Ann puts it. Just recently, this company acknowledged that its associates need better sales training.

    Uh, but I thought this isn't sales…we "share" the product and opportunity?

    Rather than blast Ann's great insights into network marketing as "not invented here" disgraces to the industry, why not embrace her ideas and consider the value they add to the marketplace?

    Haven't read the book completley, but the premise is what I have successfully guided people to Success fo almost 1/2 Century.

    Never could understand why intelligent business people would subject themselves to the trivial prattle spewed by some "So-Called" Network Marketing Companies.

    A REAL marketer could care less about "The Company", They come & Go and Income is so easy to obtain, if one practices the Mundane Tasks of operating their Business daily.

    If you want to "Work" for Somebody else, then ally yourself with a Company that does not understand what Self-Directed employment is all about.

    All of us are Capable of creating our own Products and Marketing Them. If you are in Control of your Product and Cash Flow, having a Sideline "Company" product is Fun and makes sense.

    Extra Income is OK in anybody's Book
