Kim Klaver Questions the Internet

Kim Klaver asks:

Do you need the Internet to build a networking business?

I answer:

No.

But why wouldn't you use everything at your disposal in order to provide yourself an advantage?

The Internet is a tool. It is another arrow for your quiver. When I was actively building the Amway business (and yes, Quixtar people still build it this way), I would be looked upon as a hero if I could get 2 people (prospects) a week to an opportunity meeting.

Today, using the Internet, I can talk with 5 people a day that are interested in my products or business. I'll take 20 prospects a week over 2 prospects a week every time.

The trade off?

You must work a lot harder to build a relationship when you are not meeting face to face on a weekly basis.

Hey… Kim is USING the internet. Big Time.

But we know mlm network marketers who sell LOTS of stuff right in their back yards. AND get all the perks of upper rung distributors… like leadership trips, etc.

    Kim,

Any reason you threw a little jab at Quixtar and Amway into a short article about using the internet to build a network? Can't your info stand on it's own?

I would like to add your info is out-dated as pertains to Q* & Am. We have presentations several times a week and often daily "online" AND multiple "in person".

2 prospects a week !? You have me stumped on this one. Maybe back in 1980 when you built it. Maybe 2 prospects at 3-4 different work-shops in, 3-4 different states as well in a given week.

For our org and any one working with us, it's easily 7 to 10 to 20 in a week. It all depends on your work ethic and goals and schedule. We excel at building relationships and using the internet to share our story.

  6. Well, I'm not Kim but I wrote about Amway/Quixtar.

I don't know a single group of Amway/Quixtar IBOs that have built on the Internet, perhaps you can point one out to me. Name names.

  7. Glam says:

    My apologies to Ms.Klaver.

I re-read it again and should have known it was you TY.

    Your funny.

  8. Ty Tribble says:

    I'm funny?

There is not a single Quixtar group that builds on the Internet, outside of iTeam USA which is run by Brad Doyle.
