No Statues Were Ever Built to Honor a Critic

In order to minimize the impact that web sites and blogs have on the Quixtar business, several Quixtar leaders (Larry Winters?) have adopted the saying:

"No Statues Were Ever Built to Honor a Critic"

Hmmmm. Really?

Allow me to introduce you to a critic of slavery...

Lincoln

...and I suspect that this guy was a critic of the British government in the 1700's:

Washington

In no way shape or form am I suggesting that the people that scrutinize the poor business practices of Quixtar and it's IBO leaders should be honored with a statue, but you get my point.

If the critic had the guts to take a heroic action against the thing he criticized, then he got a statue, or the honour and recognition he deserved. however if the critic merely whines or complains but does nothing else, then I think that's the critic Larry is mentioning. However as an ex Quixtar IBO I am totally against the bad business practices they do, especially downplaying the products and the Quixtar (Amway) side while developing that 'Pump in the Desert' ie the tool flow.

Great blog! Keep up the good work!

  2. Robert,

I think the cute little saying has to do with downplaying what is said on the internet.

I don't look at myself as a hero, but I can tell that within 2 year after I left Quixtar,(as a non-qualified 4,000 pin) I earned 6 figures in Network Marketing.

    What changed?

    My choice of company.

  3. Robert says:

    Congratulations!
You were very very lucky to make it to the 4000 level. The most I got was 300 and that was me when I bought tons of product. However I never had the heart of an entrepeneur and I am Baruch Hashem, happy where I am now.

What's more, none of the people in our meeting went above 1000-2000. My upline couldnt even break 1000 even after 5 years in the biz.

I was in the old Kent Allen team that then moved to Terry Taylor, and we drifted from Paul Miller to Larry Winters meetings. I quit before Larry busted his fat chops outa BWW!

    Ahh, memories!

  5. Ha ha, that was an excellent point, Ty! I enjoyed that. :)

    Shine on,
