I'm not saying Amway/Quixtar is a perfect model. I have many issues with them. But I will say this: I sold Amaway products in college back in the early 1980's. I made a couple of bucks and it was a more impactful experience than going to college. Since then, I've spoken on two philanthropic programs with Rich DeVos, and he's one of the finest individuals I've ever met. Bottom line: I didn't get wealthy in Amway; but I got wealthy from what Amway taught me. I challenge the people who complain about Amway to look in the mirror and ask themselves a critical thinking question: Is Amway/Quixtar the problem, or is it me? If it's Amway/Quixtar, then quit and do something else. If it's you, stop complaining and go to work. Becoming wealthy is simple. It's getting your thinking right that takes real effort. -Steve Siebold, CSP, www.mentaltoughnessblog.com
