I thought that Amway/Quixtar was moving past their previous disconnect with reality. Maybe not. Based on a report from Mlive,  people that tried the Simply Nutrilite products UNIVERSALLY said the prices were too high, but "Amway Officials" said the pricing is competitive...

Tastewise, the juices received fairly high marks, while the various "Food Bars" (not a real appetizing name, is it?) didn't fare as well.

Pricing for the two sampled products, quoted without shipping from the list prices at simplynutrilite.com, was universally derided as too high. Amway officials said the pricing is competitive with other similar products.

My other favorite lines from people who tried the food bars...

• "Chemical-like flavor. I eat cashew bars, I eat Caribou bars, I eat health food, but those are not good."

"I'm telling you, it left a soapy aftertaste."

I did try one of the food bars myself and I would try the other products and write a review about them if Amway would send me a care package. (What's up with that? I get thousands of readers a day on the subject of Amway/Quixtar/Network Marketing yet no love... = )).

I thought the taste of the food bar was actually above average for healthy type bars.
