78% of interviewees are intrigued by the thought of being self-employed. They think that the biggest advantage of entrepreneurship is the opportunity to put into practice one’s own ideas (95% think so), to work one one’s own (92%) and from home (73%).
The article goes on to say that many Germans are afraid to make the transition to self-employment because of the risks involved which says a lot for an industry (direct sales) that can offer people a low cost business that they can build at their own pace from home.
