Update: Greg Duncan Bankrupt?
WWDB Triple Diamond, Greg Duncan actually owns one of the most popular product lines in the world of Quixtar, XS Energy Drink, according to an article in Beverage World.
The article lists the co-owners of XS Worldwide as Josh Bradbury, Scott Coon, Greg Duncan, David Vanderveen. Scott Coon was once an Emerald, personally sponsored by Greg and I believe that David Vanderveen is a cousin to Amway/Quixtar owners, the Van Andels.
Here is the first thing that came to my mind: No matter how bad Quixtar's compensation plan is, I'm betting that Greg Duncan will be sticking around. He is probably making a lot of money when all of the other lines of sponsorship promote XS Energy Drink.
Now, speaking of XS Energy Drink and Greg Duncan, I found a bit more interesting news...
It seems that Greg Duncan is expanding his marketplace outside of Quixtar with a brand of energy drinks called, "All In".
Here is a link to an article that calls Greg Duncan, CEO of All In Energy. So now, Greg Duncan, along with former World Wide Dream Builders diamond (current Emerald?), Rod Jao, who is Vice President of All In Energy are out selling a product that competes directly with XS Energy Drink.
"Competes directly with Quixtar" is probably the most important words to consider here if you follow the Quixtar non-compete rules that the company has been making waves over.

While a technicality, it's an important one – neither Duncan nor Jao are competing with Quixtar. All in Energy, Inc is competing with Quixtar. If I recall correctly the no-compete does not apply if you are an employee of the competing company.
What you also seem to have missed (this was discussed on TTAA a while back) is that the All in Energy drink is more expensive than XS at full retail. In theory that should make it a plus for IBOs marketing XS.

IBOFightback,
So if Orrin Woodward launched his own Network Marketing company and Incorporated, but was the CEO, he would not be in violation of the non-compete?
Then if he knocked off XS Energy Drink but sold it for 25 cents more per case, he would be helping Quixtar?
Dude, I'm very curious to know who you are and what you did with the logical IBOFightback.

Doesn’t Access Business Group make/sell products that compete with products distributed by IBO’s? Looks like a similar deal here. Gain more of the market share by producing products under a different name. It’s just part of doing business.

Corporations are legal entities. Duncan doesn't compete with Q* or a Q* product range, All in Energy does. It's an important legal distinction.
Having said that, if he happened to p*** off Quixtar then I doubt that would slow down the corp. lawyers
But yes, selling a similar product for a higher price is in my opinion helpful as it makes it easier for a potential purchaser to judge it's worth and decide Q* is a better deal.

Answer these two questions for me…
1. Does "All In Energy Drink" compete with "XS Energy Drinks"?
2. Who is the CEO/Owner of "All In Energy Drink"?
You can pretend this is not a big deal…but with all of the crazy lawsuits going on at Amway, this is very interesting. They are certainly selective with their rules.

I just wrote some of my thoughts regarding Duncan, All In, and XS on my blog. As I see it, he's triple-dipping his way to success during the Amway Global Gold Rush!

I used to do quixtar and I looked into some info on ALL IN Energy drinks. It looks to me like ALL IN is EXACTLY the SAME product as XS. Even the order page on the ALL IN site is just like the quixtar site… I'm not going to put down the business but I don't think it's fair for Duncan and the others to do this. I'm sure it will cause alot of contraversy. Personally, I LOVE XS and I still buy it from my former sponser. But I hate to say that if ALL IN is more affordable, and more easily accesible, I might consider a switch

I can care less if Greg Duncan owns any company outside of Quixtar/AmwayGlobal. Leveraging your assets is part of the FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM. It seems to me that many people are jealous they didn’t think of leveraging their finances like Greg, David, and others have.

Gentlemen of the trial in and of ” public opinion” concerning Amway and their distributors: If you don’t have anything to do, , surely there is somewhere else you could do it. Could be with all of your knowledge and experience, skills etc you could build yourself a business of some description, even larger than Amway or better? Why not direct your God given abilities to something positive instead of trying to disrupt other peoples lives and businesses? I,m sure you could it- they might be able you in many ways-that is, might be able to help you do it.
