YTB Demotes Reps on June 1

As announced by Scott Tomer on the Official YTB Blog, all current Reps who are NOT power team leaders or higher will be demoted to an Associate on June 1 and no longer be allowed to discuss YTB’s opportunity.

Everyone begins by registering as an Associate in YTB 2.0. They supply their PowerTeam Leader with a list of prospects who they believe would be interested in purchasing an Internet Travel Center or becoming an Associate. That’s the end of the Associate’s responsibilities! In YTB 2.0, PowerTeam Leaders help them by following up and closing the sale of an Internet Travel Center or registering an Associate.

That’s right! At YTB, we don’t allow Associates to explain our business to their friends and family. That’s not fair to them or their prospects. We believe a person who has been trained about our business is better equipped to answer the prospect’s questions and help them get off to a fast start.

And, for every prospect who purchases an Internet Travel Center from the PowerTeam Leader, YTB will send the Associate who furnished the name a $50 thank you. There’s no limit to the number of prospects an Associate can refer, and there is never a requirement for them to become a Rep. Anyone not qualified to override on June 1, 2009, is an Associate who must refer their prospects to their PowerTeam Leader.

Dan – Don't consider telling the whole story about YTB as you continue, as a pro-MLM blog, to bash YTB.

In order to become a Power Team Leader it used to take 6 personal website sales. YTB has reduced that by ONE-HALF and a person can become a Power Team Leader with just 3 sales.

The Associate receives $50 for each of his first 3 and $100 for each sale after that.

6 personal sales previously paid $300 total and THEN you start your Power Team. 6 sales now means $450 and you are half-way to a $1000 bonus.

Not counting a new $500 Fast-Start bonus if the 4th, 5th and 6th sales happen within 14 days after the first 3.

Doesn't sound like much of a "demotion" to me!

But, then again, you want to listen to the anti-YTB zealots instead of someone actually in the business.
