JUNE 2009 – John Wadsworth, founder and president of Tahitian Noni International (TNI), announced that all Tahitian Noni International operations in Brazil will be suspended. “Unfortunately, changes in government regulations no longer allow us to legally sell and market TAHITIAN NONI Juice in Brazil,” stated Mr. Wadsworth. “This is not a decision that has been made lightly. TNI has spent months looking at multiple ways in which we might possibly continue to do business there. Tahitian Noni has produced years of safety information for government entities, to no avail. TNI has done every thing we could possibly do to keep Tahitian Noni International in Brazil, but the time has come to accept the fact that for now, this is the only responsible course of action to take. Although TNI is disappointed in the current situation, we will continue to seek approval to bring TAHITIAN NONI Juice legally into Brazil.”
