Efusjon Scam Hype and Lies?

Posted on 09. Jul, 2009 by Ty Tribble in Network Marketing - MLM, Scam Alert

I just unleashed 7 of my most closely guarded Internet Marketing files for the first time. Download Ty Tribble's MLM Web Secrets. It's my free gift to you for visiting.

I am getting a little tired of the apparent hype and lies surrounding Efusjon

Here is an example from a Hubpage written by an Efusjon rep:

Derek Broes, colleague of Bill Gates and inventor of SKYPE became a VP at Paramount Pictures.

Colleague of Bill Gates? The guy was a director level at Microsoft and Microsoft has over 90,000 employees.  Was Derek Broes really a colleague of Bill Gates?

Maybe Broes was a colleague of Gates.  Good for him.  However the second piece of information about SKYPE appears to be a lie.

Here is information on the founders/inventors of SKYPE (from Wikipedia):

Skype was written by Estonia-based developers Ahti Heinla, Priit Kasesalu and Jaan Tallinn, who had also originally developed Kazaa.[1] The Skype Group, founded by Swedish-born entrepreneur Niklas Zennström and the Dane Janus Friis, has its headquarters in Luxembourg, with offices in London, Tallinn, Tartu, Stockholm, Prague,[2] and San Jose.

No mention of Broes.  In fact the SKYPE entry on Wikipedia makes absolutely no mention of Derek Broes.

Kind of odd that the "inventor of SKYPE" is not even listed on the SKYPE entry on Wikipedia, don't you think?

Folks, it is not hard to become a fast growing business when you build on hype and lies.

Like my boys from Public Enemy always say: Don't Believe The (Efusjon) Hype.

Well, if someone is telling you that Efusjon is a partnership with Facebook put together by 400 Microsoft engineers and the guy who invented SKYPE, you might think twice.

What I find Ironic Is that everyone is going around saying that Efusjon and Facebook are working together, Broes and Facebook founder are best buds, etc, etc and many of the efusjon company replicated websites are being banned for "User abuse flags" by Facebook.
You would think that Facebook would allow all the links "IF" they were in partnership don't you think?????

Derek Broes never said he invented SKYPE. He ran Altnet/Kazaa and was partnered on skype with Niklas who invented skype. People in the MLM industry create lies to sell.

Wikipedia is a poor source to pull all of your information from. Wikipedia can be edited by any viewer and is not always accurate. You are better off Googling someone and reading multiple postings and being better informed – reading multiple opinions. Don't be so narrow minded!

In any MLM you can't believe 3/4 of what you are told to start with, but you can do your own research and find the truth. Before you call something a SCAM you should do a little research and not listen to people off the street and if you are interested in an MLM find the right person to join under and join under you, which is the key. Second, Facebook will remove any Group or references to copyright businesses without the permission of the owners. So without Derek's or eFusjon, Inc. permission the users Groups or links not to the eFusjon Incs website are removed. It is a shame that members are spamming and not using their brains. Research yourself Derek Broes his 411 is all over the business industry and the internet. Second it is know that Derek and eFusjon has an agreement with Facebook and will have one of the first MMO game applications on Facebook called eWorld which can also be researched and the graphics as seen on UTube is by Paramount Pictures were Derek still works as far as I know. The eFusjon compensation plan is one of the best ever published and it is the first MLM that is focusing on using social networks like Facebook as a viral means of meeting and presenting marketing of the eFusjon energy drink which is a Vitamin Supplement energy drink originally without caffeine, fillers, sugar or sodium called RAW and with the ACAI antioxidant berry. They do have a version with caffeine called Edge either way it is better and has the same taste as Red Bull.

eFusjon is not a scam, but the problem with their model is that basically everyone gets paid, so nobody really make any decent money unless they have really busted their ass and built a massive team. There are far better MLM companies out there that offer recession proof residual income with a better comp plan for the top 10%; which is the way it should be. At least in my opinion. Why would I want to make a 5 or 6 figure income when I can make 7?

Derek Broes just got kicked out of Efusjon for totally misrepresenting what the Facebook launch wood do. I pay for 3 positions and they are all shrinking from 25% to 30% and so is everybody else's matrixes that I know of.

Everyone can find a reason for failure or success.
It is not only about the compensation plan but just as important is the product and the integrity of it.
efusjon owners are salt of the earth guys who do not just sit in a office collecting a paycheck like the heads of most MLM's. They work the business everyday just like the rest of us in the field. They should not be punished for the misinformation of a few. The company is amazing and the product is 5 star.
However there is no free ride here. It actually takes work to make money. What a concept huh? Most people work hard in their jobs everyday. If you work harder than your co-worker do you make more money? Hell no!
MLM is different you actually own a piece of the company on some level by building a company team. And the harder you work the more money you can make and most important for me is I am helping others build their own business too!
If efusjon doesn't work for you don't do it. If you're looking for a real company that is based on good people and a great product maybe you should check it out.
And lastly if you were in this business just because of one person Derek Broes then you're in the wrong business.

Let me respond to two things:

Susan – Do your research about what the legal definition of a "pyramid scheme" is before you start slapping that label on everything shaped like a pyramid. Take a look at every business and organization out there and you'll find a pyramid shape. McDonald's was once accused of being a pyramid scheme because it wanted to franchise. The "scheme" in a pyramid scheme is where there is no product or the product isn't worth the amount of money being charged. Ever seen a chain letter where you send each person on a list $1 then remove the top person, add your name to the bottom and send the same letter to 10 friends? Bam. Pyramid scheme.

Secondly, I defy anyone to find me an example of one company where hype and rumor didn't run rampant. Are you telling me that you believe everything you read of Facebook or someone's blog? I really hope not. If you want to know the truth about a company and it's claims, write a letter or an email to the company and ask your question. Sheesh. Derek Broes was a distributor – plain and simple. He had no power or authority or right to make outrageous claims about efusjon or Facebook or a partnership.

Do your own research. Think for yourself. Don't regurgitate what you read on the Internet or heard through a friend of a friend of a friend. Be smarter than that or you might end up missing out on something amazing.

Derek has NEVER ever claimed to be an inventor of Skype!!!!! Who makes up this crap???? Never judge when you have no clue at what you are talking about. Derek is without a doubt a man of truth & integrity, & well known in Hollywood as exactly that. He has pride in his accomplishments, and has worked tirelessly to do what he can to help & serve others. One of the most generous people I have ever known. He has life long friends that will tell you that he is a friend for life, and there when you need him. He never graduated from high school, but his resume sounds like he could be from a Ivy league school, only because no matter what he does, or takes on, he gives his heart & soul to everything he does. Anyone would be proud to accomplish as much as he has in his 42 yrs. To say I'm PROUD of him is an understatement. He is possibly running for congress in the next election, & no one I know has read, research & keeps up on every major issue that is before our congress & senate that our politicians claim they don't have time to read, before they vote. Derek is angry at the corrruption in our govn't. He gets involved, he just doesn't sit around and talk about it or about things or people he knows nothing about. More than I can say about the idiot that starts gossip on top of other gossip. What comes around goes around. Always get your facts straight before you speak of someone you know nothing about. God is watching!!!!!

  14. Ex Efusjon Rep

Efusjon is a scam. There is no substance to the company except for smoke and mirrors. All HYPE HYPE HYPE. Derek Broes was their chosen “Hype Artist” and when he became a renegade rep spreading rumors and lies of things to come on their behalf, they lost control and didn’t know what to do to get control back..

I was a top rep who was ignored and had my position removed illegally when I brought up these issues and much more legally damaging evidence to put the company out of business and be tied up in court with lawsuits. I have better things to do with my life than a scam like Efusjon who claimed that Facebook’s Mark Zuckerburg was good friends with Derek and was sharing the profit with Efusjon…. Truth is they don’t even know one another and never met. Derek changed his story on this one 3 times. unreal.

Do not join Efusjon. They will lie to you and the rest of the public too. Especially for the products that will never come out but they will pretend will come out in the near future to get people all razzed up. No Thank You. I’d rather be in Amway. At least, they are still in business after 50 years.

The Efusjon Energy Club is a total, complete fraud…a scam the authorities should look into.
    (Here’s what I sent Efusjon)
This is a request to cancel any future autoship orders from Efusjon and terminate my membership. No longer able to afford the expensive products or get 3 enrolled…
especially for $200. Facebook residents are simply not interested in joining the Efusjon Energy Club…not even for the $30 membership.

All I know is the two people who pressured me to join, and especially one who guilted me about not joining and throwing away free money, is not making any money. This person quite a job to go into eFusjon full time. Now is part of a second MLM trying to make money, and taking on odd jobs.

My second issue is that I asked what specifically made the drink good enough to spend 3.25 for a 8 oz can. I asked for studies, or evidence their product had any healthy benefits. Could not produce anything and got defensive at me even asking. Another person admitted there was no benefit. Just a way to make money. Probably better than high caffeine energy drinks, but I don’t drink them anyway. I have found drinks with similar ingredients that eFusjion that range anywhere from .75c to 2.25 for the same serving that eFusjion charges 3.25 for.

Scam, I don’t think that is too harsh of a word for a product that can not back up it’s product with any evidence of benefits. Changing it’s matrix three times because it got it wrong in the first place, screws over the people who where made lots of promises for joining early, and “having faith”. That is based on authoritative evidence, which means nothing. Anyone who can critically think will find this company has no substance behind it’s product.

Any Charter member of the Efusjon scam who is pissed off about having their compensation plan nerfed by Rob Towles (CEO and co-founder of Efusjon) will tell you to stay away from this pile of crap mlm. The poster named Dave said… “I have personally seen efusjon work….I am making good money from efusjon. Its not a scam…my paychecks are proof of that. Enough said.”
I too had seen Efusjon work. I had a huge business growing with over a thousand people in my downline with little overlap (under 100). I was making enough money to bring my wife home from work to be a full time mom.
Then on a warm August morning a get a email from Efusjon stating that all efusjon reps will be getting 1.25% on overlap instead of the 4.25% that Rob Towles promised would not change for charter members . In less than two months I lost 75% of my total downline and was forced to quit. Rob Towles would not talk to any of the people who helped launch Efusjon into the MLM world and anybody who had a negative response about the comp change was black listed.
This is a total scam..It didn’t start off that way ,but all real scams start off as a really good deal don’t they?

I feel sorry for Rob Towles because he needs to watch his back . I know a few people who will kick his balls into his chest if they ever run into him. He scammed the hell out of a lot of people and I hope he gets his ass beat down.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM ALL MLMs ESPECIALLY EFUSJON!!!!!

  19. REALITY CHECK

    20. Oct, 2009

As in any business you get out of it what you put into it. If you think getting into a MLM is going to be free money without any work, you might want to continue whatever it is you do and make whatever you make. MLM’s are a business and have to be treated as such. Nothing is free not even soup. There is controversy in every MLM and always will be, but there are a lot of people making money at them world wide. I have done 4 different MLM’s and have had some problems with all of them, but i treat them all as a business and have made money at all of them. I am trying efusjon and yes there are growing problems but I get a healthy drink and make a couple of hundred dollars, so I will hang around and see what management does. all mlm’s want to be successful so I’m sure there will be adjustments to the comp plan in the future. I have seen people bail early before at the first sign of change only to regret it later, If you have no patience or drive you should not consider any kind of business because it requires time and money to start any business. Good Luck To All!

I am writing an article about Efusjon for my blog and I thank you for all your comments here.

A common problem with all MLM companies is the lack of marketing training. How do you market your business? How do you attract the right clients and prospects? How do you brand yourself as a leader?

You need a marketing system in place to be successful in any business… PERIOD.

    Dave:

Your logic is astounding! Efusjon is not a scam because you are getting paid? LMAO..How do you think schemes are perpetuated? By paying people money! LOL..

People make money in a ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme, cash gifting, all types of schemes and scams. It is how they keep the scheme going in the first place and how they get new recruits to put in their money!

By the way, you must be very new to the industry! Even if one were to accept that the Efusjon plan has no legal issues, with the exception of Melaleuca, matrix plans have NEVER worked! HELLO!

In the past 20 years, thousands of matrix plans have launched and NOT ONE has had any substantial, long term success-NOT ONE!

Furthermore, 98% of new start ups will fail in their first 2-3 years!

So, your idea of putting the odds of success in your favor is to jump on a new deal and one that has a matrix plan? Enough said…little wonder why 97% of people never succeed in our industry…

    Attention 6 Figure Club!

Those are not the only definitions of a pyramid scheme! The problem Efusjon has is in some of their policies and how they have their pay plan designed, so although there is a product involved, it can still be considered a pyramid scheme!

For example, one problem is going to be the fact that auto-ship is required in order to earn income. If that is true, that is ILLEGAL!

There are 4 or 5 other huge red flags in their plan or policies that because they appear to violate certain statutes subject them to anti-pyramiding statutes.

It doesn’t have to meet the classic defintion of a pyramid scheme in order to be a pyramid scheme..

    ITS A JOKE
AND IT DOES NOT TASTE LIKE REDBULL
IT TASTES LIKE CARBONATED PISS IN A CAN
YOU CANT MAKE THE MONEY PROMISED
AND THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU PUT IN AT THIS JOB, YOU COULD MAKE FAR MORE OF A SUSTAINABLE AND RELIABLE INCOME ANYWHERE ELSE.
