There's been a lively debate in the comments to the MLM Blog exclusive interview with Derek Broes. Read the whole MLM Blog post here.
Now, a trusted source claims that Efusjon has lost 12,000 distributors in the last 60 days.
We'd like to get to the bottom of this - does anyone have any additional information that refutes or supports this claim?

Efusjon was Based all On HYPE and The FACEBOOK Deal
can you really imagine people spending $160-$180 a Month For SODA if they are not making Money?
They were destined to Fail from the start due to that Horrible hyped up Matrix Comp Plan.

That's Awesome…
Sign Up and Do Nothing and Make Money….Yeah right!
It's called netWORK marketing not notWORK Marketing.
Get on board with a great product and build a team of customers and business builders and that is the key.

That's too Bad. (if it's true)
I thought they may have had something there. The facebook idea was pretty impressive.
As a Doctor that works on family health especially children, I decided a few months ago to go with the Liquid nutrition company that had good double blind placebo trials on humans that showed excellent results.
Other than having the healthiest energy drink & complete nutrition for adults & teens, they have now made the best nutrition formula for kids 2-12 years old (this is causing the biggest buzz I have seen in years)
So, they cover everyone, not just the 'energy' drink market.
But, there is room for everyone, & there are lot's of great companies out there. I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine.
happy business folks.

I have seen the numbers and its around 9,000. A lot of people came into the company thinking they could just sit on their butts and the dollars would just fall in around them. Yeah the comp plan is awesome, but you still have to work the business. Personally I am glad this happened and Derek Broes was removed from the company. We need organic growth, not hype.

Another thing to consider is that those 9,000 are not actual people but 'positions'. Because of the hype people were buying anywhere from 4 to 25 positions using false tax id numbers, signing up their grandmother's, etc. So when it didn't pan out everyone started canceling their extra positions. Sure there have been several jump ship, but mostly it has been even the die hards shedding all the extra spots they had as they realized it was going to take work and to make it grow they needed an actual person in that spot. So I don't think Efusjon will fail, they've got a lot going for them. If people can make many thousands of dollars selling an expensive bottle of juice they can do it with an expensive box of cans. It is just unfortunate that there was an initial hype that they let get out of control.

Personally I have witnessed a lot of this hype take it’s told on the Efusjon business, but I have also noticed that not one seasoned marketer that I have been in contact with will ever touch Efusjon. In fact, before I joined I was warned my many of these marketers to stay away. I guess that I was too head strong and jumped in anyway “don’t tell me I can’t make it work” situation.
I should have listened, my group fell apart and I understand that the FTC has new items that they will be bringing up. I have also heard that the state of Utah has outlawed this type of matrix and there is a chance that the Utah Efusjon groups could be shut down completely.
I have been able to redeem myself and get reconnected with some very successful marketers in a new business that already has, in less than a month, over 100 years of experience on the top of the matrix. I am now positioned in 3 spots directly below 2 of the company’s key distributors. One of our spots is on the second row of the Master Distributor and the other 2 positions are placed under 3 different seasoned marketers that carry over 25 years of experience each, needless to say, I have been able to set my group up very well!
Good luck to those that try and “Stick it out” with Efusjon… as for me, I will go where all the leaders are.

I know that some of the top leaders that were in efusjon have started their own company which is called AlpineV. They are coming out with some awsome energy drinks in January along with some other great products. The products they have are amazing. I had the opportunity to meet with the leaders and they are brilliant to say the least. I also got to tour the multi million dollar production facility as well. Pretty impresive.
This is really a ground floor opportunity, and if anyone is interested you should take a serious look at AlpineV. They are in a pre-launch status. If you are a network leader, I could set up a tour and meeting for you.
I wish everyone well.

C’mon Big Daddy, are you kidding? We’ve heard this all before. They won’t be around in 3 years! There are plenty of established opportunities out there without the risk. “Ground-floor” and “pre-launch” DON’T guarantee success and anybody whose been around networking long enough knows better.
