I really thought it best to stay out of the fray regarding this situation. But....
I simply find it shameful that the Arbonne situation has brought out some of the worst in people. As an Arbonne Consultant I have found that EVERY consultant I had the opportunity to meet regardless of their level in the company was a positive soul. They have faith in the company and not only want to see Arbonne succeed, but the MLM industry as a whole succeed.
I would rather drink the kool-aid than go off to a corporate job where I have been surrounded by very negative and faithless people. I hope at some time everyone at least tries to reach for something better and make their lives the best they possilby can, without tramping on someone else's ideas or dreams.
Cheers,

Now read the difference. Obviously, Arbonne is going to put their own excuse up. However 804 million in the hole is not a little debt. It is 196 million short of a billion dollars.
Sounds like a mess. Kate go and work your business because you have a debt to pay. Go!!! Assets of 200 million include the unpaid office buildings, their inventory stocks and business aids.

Who would have thought in 1999 that in 2010, going bankruptcy chapter 11 would be the same as applying for a credit card. It would be that easy to get one. Hey, maybe the government will print some more money for you and help you out!!! The banks own you now so maybe they can bail you out.

Those are sugar coated FACTS. Fact is this, the real article that hit the news on Jan 27, 2010. ARbonne only put their fact sheet after the fact of this by law article.

I am an NVP and your comments are unfounded. Yes there have been a few NVPs that have left due to unethical practices that put our industry at risk. First there would be a warning letter and if they don't stop the activity then the next action would be taken. Several top NVPs have not left the company and in fact we continue to promote more monthly. Candace Keefe is a wonderful person, but she was not the bio-chemist and was not the brains behind our products, only the beautiful face and personality to market them. We wish her luck in her new endeavor. Our company is not going downward, my personal paycheck continues to grow every month as well as my downline. Sponsoring is up as well. I love our products and I feel confident that even in the future if we needed to restructure that we would be stronger afterwards as traditionally companies are. There is room for everyone at the top whether you are with Arbonne or some other MLM. Slander and rumors only hurts the Network Marketing business and creates nasty unfounded gossip. If you are looking for a company keep one thing in mind. You can be successful at whatever you do as long as you stay in activity and keep your eye on the prize. It is not so much the company that makes you successful, it is you that has the ability to get a different end result.

My information is that Arbonne has filed a "pre-structured" bankruptcy. They have shed over 150 employees at the home office and unloaded millions of overstock products in "charitable gift" that was as much a publicity stunt as anything else.

They also are terminating NVPs and RVPs without any warning on the basis of rumor and innuendos from consultants or other VPs who make claims, true or not, that the VP in question is engaging in, or thinking of, another business opportunity. EVEN IF IT'S THE SPOUSE of the NVP who is involved in another MLM opportunity.
Several top NVPs have already left the company due to mismanagement since the sale to Harvest Partners and poor product development after the loss of Candice Keefe, and they have taken huge downlines with them.
Bottom line, this company is in a downward free fall and hundreds, if not thousands, of consultants are bailing everyday. I suspect Arbonne will indeed be in bankruptcy within 6 months.

If you're in, get out now. If you're not, stay away.
