DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - March 10, 2009) - EIRO Research, a Dallas-based nutritional company, held its prelaunch convention in Dallas on March 6-7. At the convention, the company launched its official packaging and branding, as well as EIRO Energy, a natural, healthful alternative to conventional energy drinks.

"Attendance was phenomenal," said CEO, Chris Hausman. "We had twice as many attendees as we expected. It was standing room only." EIRO's official branding was designed by Pentagram Design, an award-winning design firm whose clients include Tiffany and Co., as well as Saks Fifth Avenue. DJ Stout, a partner of Pentagram, was at the event to reveal the new look.

"This new packaging is first-class," said Liz Goldreich, a Dallas-based independent associate for EIRO. "The owners of EIRO have aligned themselves with some of the classiest companies in the country. They are setting new standards and raising the bar in network marketing."

In addition to launching new packaging, videos, and marketing materials, the company revealed it would be featured in the August issue of Your Business at Home Magazine, a publication that appears on national newsstands. Other speakers at the event included, Darren Hardy, publisher of Success magazine, and Elizabeth Showers, a jewelry designer who heads the Elisa Project, which raises awareness on eating disorders. Founding partners Bo Short, Ty Tribble, and Chris Cucchiara also spoke at the event.

"EIRO is providing an incomparable platform for its independent associates," said EIRO founding partner, Ty Tribble. Filling in for Dane

220pxdavestand While Dane Carlson takes some time off to celebrate a new addition to his family, I am helping to fill in at his wildly popular, Business Opportunities Weblog. I am laughing while writing this because here I am (on my little blog) promoting a blog that got like 600,000 unique visitors last month. Anyways check it out and while you are at it, click some ads,  so Dane can continue to pay my enormous salary. = )

Here is a recent post:

You’ve seen the web sites and you’ve probably heard the streaming audio sales pitch…

No Selling!
Not MLM!
$3,000 a week from home!

The next time you see one of these sites, you can pretty much bank on the fact that they are MLM and the average guy makes $3 a week. We will discuss those things in another post because today I want to discuss the selling (or lack there of) aspect of MLM.

I know a bunch of Network Marketers that love to compare their business to McDonald’s. These are the “buy from yourself and teach others to do the same” team. It’s funny because McDonald’s doesn’t operate in this manner. McDonald’s doesn’t keep their doors shut to customers, encouraging the crew to eat hamburgers and teach other crew members to do the same. McDonald’s opens their doors to customers!

More.

I also have the pleasure of being the author of Dane's MLM Business Opportunities Blog (fondly called MLM BOB).

Why Quixtar IBO’s leave for Univera LifeSciences

Corporate Leadership: Univera LifeSciences has a management team that has represented Fortune 500 companies and has been responsible for tens of billions of dollars in sales. Quixtar has a management team consisting of the founder's kids.

Compensation Plan: Univera LifeSciences has a hybrid compensation plan that pays 3-15% on 4 levels and an additional 5-14% down 6 generations. Quixtar has a stair-step breakaway plan that has been basically the same since 1959. As soon as someone starts producing significant volume, they are cut off from you and you are paid only 4% of 1 generation.

Business Volume: One Business Volume is Univera LifeSciences is about $1.30, meaning 100 Points cost about $130. One Business Volume in Quixtar is equal to about $2.50, meaning 100 points cost about $250.

Business Tools: CD's in Oasis cost about 75 cents each and are sold by the company. Other tools are regulated by the company. CD's in Quixtar range from $6-8/ea. (or subscribed to for $40/month) and are a profit center for the Quixtar Diamonds. Other tools are produced by the Diamond kingpins and are likely the main source of Diamond income.

The Univera LifeSciences Corporate Leadership

Posted on 29. Nov, 2005 by Ty Tribble.

Yesterday, I wrote about the transition from Passport LLC to Univera LifeSciences. In my post, I made a comment about the corporate leadership of Oasis Life Sciences:

Univera LifeSciences had the infrastructure, products and corporate leadership that Passport LLC did not have.

As I should have guessed, a critic grabbed that small portion of my post and made it sound like I was making some sort of statement against the Passport corporate leadership. Well, the critic was right. Passport does not have the corporate leadership that Univera LifeSciences has. In fact, there isn't a Network Marketing company in the world that has the corporate leadership that Oasis Life Sciences has.

While some (see Amway-Quixtar) Network Marketing companies place the livelihood of their entire distributor force in the hands of their kids, Oasis has amassed a group of executives that is unrivaled:

Stuart Ochiltree, Chairman of the Board - As the former CEO and President of the largest direct selling company in the world, Stuart intimately understands how to build a successful company. At the age of 49, Stuart retired from his position as CEO and President of 4 billion dollar giant, Avon Direct Sales.

Derek Hall, Chief Executive Officer - Derek has more than 38 years' experience in the healthcare industry including 12 years in the natural products field. His impressive past includes serving as President/CEO of Nature’s Way, Botanicals International, Enzymatic Therapy, and Senior Vice President of McKesson Drug Company.

Stephen Cherniske, M.S., President & Chief Science Officer - Stephen Cherniske is a pioneer in the field of healthy aging and the chief architect of the groundbreaking Metabolic Model of Aging. He is also a best-selling author and recognized expert in nutritional biochemistry and human performance. For more than 30 years, Stephen has studied and educated others in nutrition, anatomy and physiology.

Stan Weiss, Executive Vice President of Marketing - Stan combines classical marketing experience in several Fortune 500 companies with executive management success in network marketing. Stan spent more than 15 years of his career with some of the most powerful marketing companies in the world including Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, American Express, and Novell.

Transition to Univera LifeSciences

Posted on 28. Nov, 2005 by Ty Tribble.

Beginning December 1st, Passport LLC associates will start transitioning into Univera LifeSciences. Change is not always an easy thing. But change is vital in today's fast moving world of technology and innovation.

In the last 10 months since coming on board with Passport as company President, we have had a number of initiatives already in motion that would have changed the face of Passport over the next 2-3 years. These included:

  • Adding unique products
  • Adding additional depth and other bonuses to the compensation plan
  • Adding meetings (meet-ups) that would allow associates to see each other face to face on a semi weekly basis.
  • Expanding the number and type of entry levels
  • Expanding into Canada and Australia shortly after

Univera LifeSciences offers Passport associates the opportunity to take advantage of these changes in 2-3 weeks instead of 2-3 years. It's really that simple. Bo Short calls this "a giant leap", and rightly so. Yet it is a giant leap in the direction Passport was already heading.

While talking about these changes, my wife asked me, "Why don't more Network Marketing companies network with each other?". That's a darn good question.

Univera LifeSciences had the infrastructure, products and corporate leadership that Passport LLC did not have. Passport LLC has people that want to build Network Marketing the right way. Univera LifeSciences will certainly benefit from the Passport people and the people within Passport will benefit from the resources Univera LifeSciences has to offer.

Goofy Titles in Network Marketing

Posted on 24. Nov, 2005 by Ty Tribble.

2

Let's face it. The world of Network Marketing has goofy titles, mostly gems and precious metals. Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond to name a few. These titles usually represent some sort of rank or achievement within a company.

Henryviii2 Over the years, distributors in Amway/Quixtar would take advantage of this hierarchy by making sure that those below them took everything they said as law. They formed tool system money making machines having nothing to do with the movement of products into the hands of real end users. Only the highest level gemstones participated in the profits of these systems and most others didn't even know that the profits existed.

If you know that the title of Diamond is associated with milking hundreds of people out of book, CD, voice mail and function (meetings) money without regard for their financial success, you might get a bad taste in your mouth about titles.

However, what if the title is associated with hard work and real product volume? What if the associates "under" the titled person had an average of 6 customers each?

The most important titles I hold are husband and dad and frankly, I don't care what you call me outside of that. In my opinion, a person that builds a solid business based on customers and real product volume deserves recognition.

Call them any title you want.

I'll call those folks successful.
