1. You can record cool stuff like Mariners baseball, The World Poker Tour or I Want To Be A Hilton, then watch them late at night after 3-way calls, conference calls, and meetings. You don't miss your shows or your meetings.
2. 72-94% of commercials are skipped while watching Tivo. If a large percentage of the population starts using Tivo, a lot of commercials would be skipped. If no one is watching the commercials on TV, perhaps companies will embrace Network Marketing as a unique and cost effective way to advertise.

I agree. Today a company has to use what I believe is hit and miss marketing. There are so many channels to advertise on and what I believe is a very diverse viewership, that they can't possibly grasp the demographics. That's not considering TIVO.

1) If no one watches ads (I work in ad industry), all programming will be pay per view.
2) I show up in wal-mart / price chopper. I really don't remember what I saw in ads. I buy whatever I want. I look on the shelves, and if it's within my budget, I buy it.
3) If net work markter is not professional, I'll blog about it
If he is, I might buy, give product is reasonable too. (natural selling)
