Wouldn't it be interesting if Alticor launched a new web site, kind of like Blu Sphere or Esolis (the Alticor owned asian skin care company that has since disappeared)?
Alticor has this line of products that is not currently being sold in the U.S., but has such great name recognition, practically everyone has heard of them. The product line is called Amway.
I can't seem to find an Amway product in the U.S. to save my life. The reality of Amway products is that (for the most part), they are good products, that are typically priced way out of the real world.
So here's the goofy theory: Alticor gets fed up with the Quixtar business and sells it off, then relaunches Amway as an Amazon-esque traditional e-commerce company. Amway cuts the price of their products in half and product sales are driven because the customer is getting a good value, instead of product sales being driven by the 2-5 year, financial independence lie.

Amway has proven to pay out around 30-35% for marketing. The branding aspect comes from getting the product out there via word-of-mouth – why would that not continue?
