When I first looked at the news coming across my desk, I almost spit out my coffee (sorry mushroom coffee people, it was Starbucks).
I actually thought the news was for Organo Gold shutting down in the U.S. and Canada.
But don’t worry my OG friends. Your company is not shutting down.
However, one of your competitors, Gano Excel is no longer accepting orders in the U.S. or Canada.
According to our friend, Ted Nuyten at BusinessForHome, rumor has it that Gano Excel CEO Joven Cabasag has grabbed the company data base with plans to launch a new company called Gano Life.
We will be sure to grab a cup of coffee and watch this closely.
According to Ted, over 30,000 reps might be affected by the closure.

Interesting to see how Gano Life will spin there products to compete with Organo Gold. There would have to be several differentiators between them and OG to compete as another organic gourmet coffee.

Apparently, Gano Excel is now suing gano life CEO for misusing Gano Excel’s confidential information. Let see how that goes…
