XANGO World Headquarters was selected to host a Direct Selling Association regional event this week. More than 40 executives from top DSA companies converged on the hippest and happening-est HQ anywhere, and it proved to be a phenomenal showcase for XANGO’s true leadership in direct selling.

Founder & CEO Aaron Garrity was the official event host, and he was joined by partner Kent Wood, general counsel Michelle Wilson, CFO Nate Brown and other XANGO team members. Guests enjoyed a tour of the facilities before their special dinner, and of course they were overwhelmed by the inimitable XANGO culture on display at every turn.

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen has been "drinking the stuff everyday", referring to Xango.

Sources at Xango told TMZ they are "very nervous" about being associated with the actor.

I've tried Xango myself and I am pretty confidant that drinking it does not lead to "crazy like Sheen".

XanGo, LLC, the official title jersey sponsor of Real Salt Lake (MLS), today congratulated the team on signing one of the most recognizable names in professional soccer, Freddy Adu. The international mangosteen category creator and market leader warmly welcomed the 17-year-old superstar to Salt Lake City.

Last month XanGo announced its historic title jersey sponsorship with Real Salt Lake, the first of its kind in U.S. professional sports. The XanGo brand name will be emblazoned on the chest of each RSL player jersey starting with the 2007 season, following the European pro soccer model.

Things are heating up for Xango in Mexico! This just in from the Xangosphere.

Up-and-coming leaders were next welcomed up front where they kindly shared their wisdom and XANGO experiences with the rest of us. Following a few words of my own, XANGO Chairman Aaron Garrity took the stage and masterfully presented his tailor-made message for our Mexican leaders. Aaron closed his message and received—that’s right—another standing ovation.

After a Distributor testimonial from 20Ks Sergio Estrada & Alma Bustos, Chief Marketing Officer Larry Macfarlane took the stage to tackle the topic of presenting the XANGO story to new prospects. Walking the tightrope between corporate theory and Distributor application, Larry worked his magic and delivered a speech that 500K Select Estela Salinas would later rave about, saying that it was just what the leaders needed to hear. XANGO 100K Select Jorge Arzamendi closed the session with his story, edifying Estela and XANGO along the way, and inspiring all to achieve more with XANGO.

Note the choice of words below.  "No signing bonus or guaranteed "position"."   Does that mean Xango isn't paying him a monthy income on top of his commissions?

I don't know if this is a huge blow to Amway, but it is interesting given Amway's prior tendency to sue as soon as you leave.  We'll see if the lawsuits fly given the recent ruling on non-competes.

I also know a lot of people who have left Xango because of the lack of income.  Is it better than Amway?  Probably.  If you've eaten tofu all your life and someone gives you a McDonald's hamburger, it will taste pretty good...but you might not have known about that steakhouse that serves a 12 oz. rib eye steak. 

Xango is a bit of an old-school unilevel plan without any check matching or hybrid qualities.
