The DRA (Direct Sellling Association) is a national trade association for companies that sell directly to consumers. There are over 200 member companies.

The Association's mission is "To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by member companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers."

If you're involved in the MLM, Network Marketing or Direct Sales industry the DRA is a great source of up-to-date information on specific companies.

The DSA website also offers a full range of tax resources for Direct Sellers.

They are featuring a new site called Direct Selling 411 – I'm not sure if it's affiliated with the Direct Selling Association but it features some good resources for new Direct Sellers with sections on what to expect, picking what's right for you, choosing a company, as well as a section on myths & facts related to the Direct Selling industry.
