Great post Ty. I agree that responding to comments is a great strategy. It shows people that there is a real person behind the blog. It can be tricky at time when you get tons of comments every day, but it’s time well spent as I see it.

I know that when I see a blogger responding to comments, it really connects me to them. It sends the message that the blogger is others-focused, not self-indulgent.
