Two things amaze me about folks looking to make money online and through Network Marketing…

1. Short Term Memory

2. Lack of Research

I would bet that some of the same people who said that BurnLounge was "the next big thing" are touting MyMusicTicket.  They have a short memory.

Other's are out promoting MyMusicTicket because they don't do adequate research.

Before I get into MyMusicTicket, let's recall the not so distant past when a company called BurnLounge was going to change the way you buy music and interact socially about music.

From Wikipedia:

BurnLounge, Inc. was the world’s first fan-driven digital download community. Built around the power of the personal referral, BurnLounge allowed people to purchase music, movies, products and much more the way they discover them: through family, friends… anyone with a BurnLounge Store.

BurnLounge was sued by the FTC as an illegal pyramid scheme and was shut down in late 2007.

Now let's have a look at MyMusicTicket (some marketing snips that I found around the net):

You get your own storefront with up to 40 pages to promote your own Offers (not just ONE page), when anyone visits your pages, every time you chat with others, whenever you send a message to another person, whenever you play music from a database of 250,000 songs, whenever you send or receive emails, whenever you or your family Play free GAMES on the site,  when you create a Blog, whenever you write a few words on a Blog,  every time someone watches a video on one of your pages, even if someone watches your video on YouTube, Myspace etc,  when visitors are listen to music on your page,  if you are a musician/composer whenever someone listens to your own material and you get paid a Fast Start for anyone you introduce (who becomes a paying member).

I can tell you one thing for sure.  You will not get paid when the FTC shuts this thing down.

You can not get paid for doing things that do not create revenue.  As far as I can tell, the only thing in that laundry list of promises that create revenue is introducing someone who becomes a paying member.  That has the makings of an illegal pyramid scam.

In my opinion, MyMusicTicket is a matrix pyramid scheme that will be shut down by the FTC if it gains any traction.

One last observation is that the site looks like nothing more than a Joomla site designed by an amateur complete with goofy banner ads.  I am not really an expert in design and web sites, but my guess is that very little money was put into the site at MyMusicTicket.com.
