Kim Klaver asks:

Do you need the Internet to build a networking business?

I answer:

No.

But why wouldn’t you use everything at your disposal in order to provide yourself an advantage?

The Internet is a tool. It is another arrow for your quiver. When I was actively building the Amway business (and yes, Quixtar people still build it this way), I would be looked upon as a hero if I could get 2 people (prospects) a week to an opportunity meeting.

Today, using the Internet, I can talk with 5 people a day that are interested in my products or business. I’ll take 20 prospects a week over 2 prospects a week every time.

The trade off?

You must work a lot harder to build a relationship when you are not meeting face to face on a weekly basis.
