I often hear critics say that MLM is a fundamentally flawed business concept.
Of course they are right.
However, they shouldn’t toot there horns quite yet. The reality is, every single business in the world is flawed. No business will work for everyone.
In fact, I’m flawed, you are flawed, and the world is flawed. Yet, I still live what I consider to be a pretty good life. I’ll bet you do too. I have good health, a beautiful wife and great kids. I have a lot of things to be thankful for as I’m sure you do.
There are flaws in Network Marketing, but there are also some distinct advantages.
In Network Marketing, I have more control over my income than I would at a typical job.
In Network Marketing, I have less to worry about (paperwork, product distribution, employees) than I would by having a typical business.
MLM is not for everyone, but it certainly isn’t any more flawed than the profession of the person that is telling you how flawed it is.

But are you fundamentally flawed? I hope not. Is MLM funamentally flawed? It sure looks that way.
This brings up the question – what does "fundamentally flawed" really mean and do you understand its meaning?
I'll give examples of some things that are fundamentally flawed contrasted with things that are flawed, but not at a fundamental level.
1. Communism is fundamentally flawed. It works fine in theory but in practice it breaks down almost perfectly. Contrast with a representative democracy which, while flawed, can and often does succeed in spite of its flaws.
2. A pure laissaiz faire economic system is also fundamentally flawed. Some forms of government control are needed to keep the interests of society protected in certain situations. A moderate capitalist economic system, while flawed, ultimately works as designed when set in motion.
3. A chain letter looks like a great way to make money where nobody gets hurt but at its core, it's fundamentally flawed. Opening a corner grocery store has its flaws but it's generally a good way to do business. It's not fundamentally flawed.

I would have to disagree with you. All of the things you listed have inherent flaws. Flaws related to the fundamentals of the concept.
For example, the poorest people in the U.S. might suggest that the "moderate capitalist economic system" does not work at all.
Seemingly, captialism does not work for everyone in our nation, therefore it is fundamentally flawed.
Does it work? Of course it does. Is it fundamentally flawed? Yes it is.
I know I am not as savvy as you two gentleman are that are sharing these intriguing ideas with. So here is my thoughts and I alwayd believe if you have to get complicated, you will have a hard time sharing the main point. Whats so amazing is that that the word "FLAW" has been on my mind a lot lately. I have been telling people with amazement, excitement and pure confidence to FIND THE FLAW IN THIS BUSINESS! Then I list off flaws of all the other major MLM's that most people know of… prices are at a premium, sacrifice, and life change expected to make it work are very high, only for some people, not necessary for life, can live without it, just a luxury, monthly qualification is high etc.. etc.. I almost swore to myself I would never buy into any MLM again and instead built a very successful business as far as my immediate family is concerned. THEN I WAS LEAD TO A WEBSITE THAT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AGAIN!.. So Do your homework and FIND THE FLAW!! You won't I tried and I was a MLM Hater to bat.
