I was recently accused of plagiarism by a web site that is allegedly supported by Quixtar’s IBOAI board members. Here is a direct link (to the connection).
Plagiarism is a pretty strong accusation and if the accusation is untrue, there might be cause for a libel lawsuit.
By the way, the post that I was accused of plagiarizing can be found here and as you can see there is full credit to the author with a link to the original site.
I am not in the mood to accuse anyone of plagiarism, but I would like to point out two links that you might find interesting.
The first link is to Steve Victor’s web site. I believe that Steve Victor is Jody Victor’s son and the Vice President of MarkerNET, Jody Victor’s Quixtar support system.
On this site, there is a quote attributed to Steve Victor:
"Individuals Win Games but TEAMs Win Championships!"

Got it? OK.
The second link I want to point out to you is a link to a motivational poster that you might find interesting.
The poster says the following:
"TEAMWORK:
Individuals win games, but teams win championships"

Those quotes look the same to me too. Pretty wild, isn’t it?
Now, I am not one to speculate, but it would certainly be interesting if Jody Victor, "The Voice of Calm" and "a leader in the field of i-commerce…and Board Member and Officer of the Independent Business Owners Association" was linked with a web site that incorrectly accused someone of plagiarism.

You can't blame Steve-o. He comes by it honestly. I attended a seminar where his old man told a story that HE met two brothers in San Fransisco whose father was an alcoholic. Jody continued the story to a packed meeting room in Cincinnati saying that HE asked these brothers, one very sucessful and one a homeless person, why they ended up the way they did in their lives.
I recall getting very angry that Jody would present this story as his own experience. I left the session and even considered leaving the convention altogether.
I expressed my anger and disappointment to my upline sponsor. I explained that Jody lied about HIS story and how I had heard of this story many years ago.

So, take it easy on Steve. I mean, with a father like his, how else could he have turned out.
Dr Hans Selye is the researcher involved in the REAL study mentioned. Dr. Selye is considered a pioneer in the study of the effects of stress upon the human body.
