Tahatian Noni, Xango and Monavie have good products. But guess what? So does Costco. I snapped this picture with my Treo today while picking up a few things at my local Costco…
The picture shows a pallet of Noni Juice with sample sized Mangosteen and Acai Berry juices included in each box.
The problem with a good juice product is that other companies will copy them. The bottle of Noni Juice (see MLM Tahitian Noni), that included sample sized bottles of Mangosteen (Xango, Veema) and Acai (Monavie) was being sold for $12.97.
A quick Google search found Tahitian Noni being sold for $42 a bottle, Xango for $39.95 a bottle and Monavie for $42 a bottle.
If we want sustained growth, we will need to find companies that innovate.
Here is the problem with the juice you found in Costco and other similar places. The Acai Berry has a shelf life of approximately 18 hour. After that the nutritional value is gone. MonaVie has a patented process of free drying the berry. This process maintains 100% of the nutritional value and is the reason that MonaVie is doing such incredible things for people. Many of the products on the market like Noni have helped a lot of people but they don't even come close to having the effect of MonaVie…

How does Dave know MonaVie hasn't licensed other companies to use their "patented process" or are they licensing the process from someone else? How do we know there aren't other similar processes that accomplish the same goal? How does Dave know that MonaVie is better than Noni?
It seems like a lot of people are taking things on faith rather than looking into the facts (like a patent #).
It's a patent-pending process. The harvesting facility is owned by Dr. Alex Schauss, a business partner of our head of product development, so yes – Opti Acai can be seen as technically 'ours'. I've seen some pill supplements offering it as well (unverified, quick google search), but I'd imagine it'll be kept in-house for functional beverages. Purely speculation, but y'know. It's a business thing.
And Noni tastes horrible, I think that's common knowledge. That in itself makes it better, yeah? 😉
Ty – innovation is definitely key. Take the Monatini, for instance. Or the innovative women who use Monavie gel packs for facials. I've even heard from a bird that acai colonics will be all the rage this year. Ha.

also….MonaVie is a "blend" of 18 different fruits covering the entire phytonutrient spectrum. MonaVie is not just Acai. There are many distributors in our group that have taken acai in gel pack, pill, and other juice formualations before and never had the results MonaVie are providing. I was at a tasting party last night and was blown away by what some of the folks there were saying about its effect on their health. Oh, and several were drinking MonaVie and NOT distributing it. I am so looking forward to the day when you guys go…hmmm, maybe we should check this MonaVie out.
