Queen of Tupperware Cracks Wise With Broadway World

Queen of Tupperware Cracks Wise With Broadway World

Dee W. Ieye is the creation of actor Kevin Farrell and the #1 Tupperware representative in the U.S. and Canada in personal sales. Here's a snippet of an interview she (he) recently had with Broadway World. Funny.

Born in a little town outside Lynchburg, Tennessee Dee W. Ieye was the sole heir to the Jack Daniel's fortune. She began her circuit of beauty pageants at a young age and eventually found herself out here in L.A. competing for the crown in Aid for Aids Best in "drag" show in 2004. Taking her new found fame from that competition, Dee stepped into the role of Tupperware Lady in 2005, doing in home party demonstrations of Tupperware's classic food storage containers. It wasn't long before Dee became the # 1 Personal Seller of Tupperware products in the Nation. For 3 years she has held that title of # 1 in personal sales and is on her way to find out if it's year # 4 in Orlando next week at the big Tupperware convention. Not only is Dee busy with her party demonstrations, she is also very active in the community doing personal appearances, MC -ing events, private parties and fundraising. She's best known for her charitable works with raising money for Aids Services Orange County and their affiliate Friends of Dorothy. Each year 4 events are held where money is raised directly to support those in Orange County living with HIV / AIDS.
In our rare interview, she shares, for the very first time, her deepest secrets/tips for feminine beauty, youth and vitality.

Tell us your deepest secret about the challenges of staying beautiful.

There are many challenges. One is constantly comparing ourselves to all them girls in the magazines. They are not real ladies. We are beautiful as we are. Now, I'm not saying that an occasional trip to the plastic surgeon isn't needed. Beauty fades - but as long as the fat can be sucked out of my butt and shot into my face - why not? It's mine. It's all just a little re-structuring. If it's worked for Dolly, Joan Rivers and Heidi Montag ...?

My dear, we know that eating healthy is important but, as the award-winning queen of Tupperware, tell me, how can Tupperware help with the health issue?

Eating is important - when I remember to do it. And Tupperware is so important to a healthy lifestyle. Products to keep your cucumber firm and others to re-heat your meat. Are you a "girl-on the-go"? Tupperware has products for your fast paced on the go life. Take your healthy lunch to work, school or jail. Be sure to share with Lindsay Lohan - that girl could use a meal.

I’ll Take Russian Tupperware Millionaires For $1000 Alex

I’ll Take Russian Tupperware Millionaires For $1000 Alex

I came across this as I was skimming the The Moscow News this morning - a typical Tuesday morning! Seems like Tupperware is certainly not in jeapordy of losing market share in Russia these days. In fact, business is booming.

While many expats believe Russia remains a patriarchal society, Tupperware CEO Rick Goings is cashing in on “savvy” housewives.

The company has around 100,000 sales people working for it, most of them married women, and many of them are already millionaires.

“We gave them a model: here is our product, here is how you sell it, and here is the structure how you build a sales organisation,” said Goings, who considers his biggest achievement here is the impact his company has had on women’s lives. “Our managing director was a doctor and some of our sales force were housewives.”

He added that the Russian woman who work for him are “real entrepreneurs”, “savvy” and “dedicated”.

Tupperware Lands Naming Rights For Community Hall

Tupperware Lands Naming Rights For Community Hall

After pledging a 10-year, $1 million donation for the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center, Tupperware Brands Corp. landed the naming rights for the center’s 300-plus seat community hall, which will be called the Tupperware Brands Community Hall Stage.

According to a release, the stage — located at the center of the complex — will host local events such as emerging arts groups, educational programing and University of Central Florida student performances.

“We strongly believe in the mission of the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center to create a multicultural center for arts and education for all to enjoy,” said Rick Goings, chairman and CEO of Tupperware Brands, in a prepared statement.

In addition to naming rights, Tupperware-branded signage will be installed around the stage.

Royal Caribbean Adopts Tupperware Model

Royal Caribbean Adopts Tupperware Model

Will the Tupperware model work for the travel industry?

Royal Caribbean tried this marketing strategy in late summer to see if it would float. Using House Party, a consumer activation and experiential marketing company, and teaming up with Cruise Planners/American Express, the line introduced more than 14,000 consumers to a cruising experience in 1,000 homes across the country.

Most women are very familiar with the format: You invite friends into your home to attend a fun, authentic theme party — all about Royal Caribbean cruising in this case, as opposed to food prep tools, make-up, sex toys, baskets or candles. Cruise planners were on hand to answer questions, and the hosts are tracking results at microsites. These online communities also allow hosts and attendees to upload photos and talk about their experiences, thus extending the good times (and brand strength) via social media.

I’m betting the exclusive gifts and discounts on sailings Royal Caribbean offered attendees didn’t hurt, either. Nor does the fact participants earn drawing entries for every photo they post.

“We wanted and found consumers who were willing to share their enthusiasm and love of cruising with their friends and family,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and co-founder of Cruise Planners/American Express. “The hosts and guests shared their passion for travel and learned more about all the fun and activities that Cruise Planners and Royal Caribbean International have to offer.”
