I just unleashed 7 of my most closely guarded Internet Marketing files for the first time. Download Ty Tribble's MLM Web Secrets. It's my free gift to you for visiting.

I was surprised to see so many antioxidant juices containing Sodium Benzoate, including MonaVie, Xango and Ageless Xtra.

EIRO SuperAntioxidant is free of sodium benzoate and is clinically proven to raise antioxidant levels in the bloodstream. Learn more here: EIRO Antioxidant Product

If you want additional scientific details about EIRO Research check out this site.

Even the Coca Cola company has stopped using Sodium Benzoate in it's products.

Here are the three big reasons for concern:

Sodium Benzoate with Vitamin C creates a carcinogen…

"Sodium benzoate has already been the subject of concern about cancer because when mixed with the additive vitamin C in soft drinks, it causes benzene, a carcinogenic substance. A Food Standards Agency survey of benzene in drinks last year found high levels in four brands which were removed from sale."

Sodium Benzoate has been shown to damage cells leading to aging…

"Now, an expert in ageing at Sheffield University, who has been working on sodium benzoate since publishing a research paper in 1999, has decided to speak out about another danger. Professor Peter Piper, a professor of molecular biology and biotechnology, tested the impact of sodium benzoate on living yeast cells in his laboratory. What he found alarmed him: the benzoate was damaging an important area of DNA in the “power station” of cells known as the mitochondria.

He told The Independent on Sunday: “These chemicals have the ability to cause severe damage to DNA in the mitochondria to the point that they totally inactivate it: they knock it out altogether.

“The mitochondria consumes the oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it – as happens in a number if diseased states – then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously. And there is a whole array of diseases that are now being tied to damage to this DNA – Parkinson’s and quite a lot of neuro-degenerative diseases, but above all the whole process of ageing."

Sodium Benzoate when ingested with certain food coloring leads to hyperactivity in children…

"A study by researchers at the University of Southampton has shown evidence of increased levels of hyperactivity in young children consuming mixtures of some artificial food colors and the preservative sodium benzoate.

The possibility of food colors and preservatives affecting children’s behavior has long been an unresolved question for parents. This significant new research by a team from the University of Southampton’s Schools of Psychology and Medicine provides a clear demonstration that changes in behavior can be detected in three-year-old and eight-year-old children."

Everywhere you look, Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, blogs and podcasts have become another way to communicate. Electronic media are now a part of our social fabric, and there are some who do it better than others.

On Nov. 6, the Social Media Club of Salt Lake City presented its first set of awards to technologically savvy Utah companies and bloggers. "We thought we should get together as a community and award those who make a difference in people's lives," said club program director Pete Codella. "They are providing information and inspiration and a greater sense of community."

Local mangosteen juice company Xango claimed the Best of Show award, for its "very impressive online presence," Codella said. "It's not just traditional media, they're also using social media to spread the word."

The People's Choice award, based on the number of members' nominations, was awarded to The FredCast, a cycling podcast and blog by David Bernstein.

XanGo, LLC attracted about 10,000 XanGo distributors from across the globe to Salt Lake City last week for its seventh annual convention. With more than 1 million distributors and a presence in more than 30 international markets, XanGo has a lot to celebrate this year. The theme of the convention – “Thrive” – particularly resonated for a company successfully launching two new product lines, despite the economic downturn, and entering a host of new markets including Russia and Italy in 2009.

“The annual XanGo convention is an opportunity to review our past successes and truly give credit to all the people who contributed their passion and hard work to reach this point, but it’s also a strategic time to look to the future and chart where XanGo is headed in 2010 and beyond,” XanGo CEO Robert Conlee said. “Judging from the convention, our distributors are motivated to get back to building their XanGo business, recharged with new ideas and wellness products that their customers will love.”

Here's more evidence that MLM and Network Marketing companies have big hearts and wallets.

XanGo, LLC, a leading global health and wellness company, officially launched the XanGo Goodness Foundation last night
with a fundraising gala to benefit Operation Smile. The XanGo Goodness Foundation was established to extend the reach of its ongoing work to actively support philanthropic causes worldwide. Of particular interest is improving the lives of children at home and around the world and mobilizing to address disasters and crises. The event raised nearly $35,000 toward a week-long goal of supporting an Operation Smile mission to Thailand to provide children's cleft lip and palate repair. The money raised translates into approximately 145 surgeries.

Gordon Morton, XanGo founder and board member comments, "The XanGo Goodness Foundation transcends mere 'check-writing' - we encourage involvement and volunteerism." Morton adds, "XanGo Goodness evolved into a Foundation that is registered as a 501(c)(3) charity, in a move to strengthen both XanGo's fundraising abilities and transparency. Perhaps most importantly, this will expand our ability to help more people in need."

The XanGo Single is now available in the United States and is being introduced in Canada and Mexico, two of XanGo’s largest international markets, later this month.

Is Xango the next Google?

Posted on 27. Jul, 2006 by Ty Tribble.

XangobottleI have seen a number of blog comments in recent weeks saying that Xango is the next Google and I have a very difficult time with this type of hype.

This type of "hypalogue" (I think I just made up a new word - sweet!) usually starts with one of the guru leaders and filters down through the ranks until someone decides that they should post it on a blog.

For the sake of argument lets quickly look at the Xango product and see how it compares with Google...

Xango has one product that arguably is not even close to the best quality of price in it's category. Costco actually carries a Mangosteen product that has a better ORAC score and is a lot less expensive.

Google has many products and several of them are the best in their category.

Xango is never going to be the next Google, in fact, I am willing to bet that Xango sales will start to slip in the near future. One product can carve you out a nice niche, but you need more if you want to continue growth in the long term.
