Either I made some sense or people felt sorry for me. I’m going to stick with the making sense story about advertising on the MLM Blog.
I have one Quixtar IBO ad that will start on Tuesday and I just received a phone call from the UK from another gentleman that would like to place an ad.
As promised, I am going to post an advertorial about the Quixtar IBO and his business. That should be interesting.
I am also going to be working on some type of side panel feed for another blogger. (If you know of any tools out there that would make this easy, please let me know).
Update: You can now see a feed from Kim Klaver’s blog in the upper right side panel of the MLM Blog. The feed will update when Kim updates her blog. It’s a neat idea and all Kim’s. I am going to be pretty picky about the feed ads. Kim is someone that I truly admire and if you read her blog you will see that we agree on an awful lot. Enjoy Kim Klaver!
The Quixtar IBO's site is typical of this organization. You can't even look at their products without entering a password. Hmmm, something to hide. It's all about Quixtar's opportunity and products are secondary (actually they are 3rd behind tapes, books and seminars)!
No not every site has a password. I already know what these individuals (Amway,Quixtar-same thing) are all about. I don't understand why you would put an ad on this site that just takes you to a page and then you can't navigate to anything because you need a password. People that click on this site as I did have not had previous contact with you so we don't have a password. I am not being negative just realistic. I hope you do very well with your Amway business as long as you are retailing product, sponsoring and not buying into the tools scam. I am sure that many people will support what I am saying. I'm just looking out for your best interest.
Andrew,
Does not every site have a password to enter? As far as having something to hide how did you come to this conclusion. The site provides all of the information in regards to products, partner stores etc… and even allows for the viewer to register themselves also. It does talk about the optional education system and the leaders of the organization. The contact information of the IBO is listed name, number, and email. Were you truly interested in what the site had to offer or just looking for negative, if you are looking for the positive why not leave your contact information and find out what these individuals are truly about.
Andrew, as you may know this is not typical nor is the advertising on this site a grand plan of mine. I enjoy reading the blog and enjoy Ty's site although I am not always in agreement. However in regards to the password issue you are correct I hit reply to quick without proof reading my response. The pass word to my site if you look in the upper left hand corner where the add is you see very plainly enter password: freedom this will allow you to navigate my entire site. You mention you have the best interest of everyone then why place a bit of doubt in a prospects mind in regards to a business powered by Quixtar. We indeed build our business the way the founders of Quixtar intended for it to be built following all the rules and regulations of a true business. We create volume(member/client rule), sponsor others who are looking to generate an additional line of income, and offer them the optional I say again optional educational system. My apologies in regards to my ad, it is not set up user friendly I just decided to take Ty up on his offer with no expectations.
I agree on taking "ads" "editorials" "advertorials" for what they are… something for people to ponder on and then they make their own decisions. Irrespective of whether that decision is based on prejudice, well researched directive, or past bad experiences. And Ty has the ultimate right to make money, however little it may be, from advertising on his very popular blog. Plus, I enjoy reading everything on here. And if you also happen to read and visit my space, all the better. Spirited, civil discussions are all fine with me as it probably is with Ty. However, I always hate seeing fights in forums or blogs.
