Amare Collagen Just Launched, So Why Is Everyone Paying Attention?

Walk into any health food store right now and you’ll find an entire wall of collagen products. Powders. Capsules. Gummies. Beauty blends. Joint formulas. Collagen coffee creamer, for crying out loud.

So when a new collagen product launches, the natural response is to shrug and move on.

But earlier this month, Amare Global, known in the direct selling world as The Mental Wellness Company, launched Amare NeuCollagen, and something about it made me stop and actually read the press release twice.

The reason it’s interesting isn’t just what Amare collagen does. It’s what it does that nobody else has bothered to do.

The Problem With Every Other Collagen Product

Here’s how the collagen category has always worked.

You want better skin, you buy a beauty collagen. For joint support, you buy a joint formula. And if you want muscle recovery, you reach for a collagen protein blend.

One product. One benefit. Pick your priority.

The problem is that most people don’t just have one thing going on. They want the joints that don’t ache in the morning and the skin that doesn’t look like they stayed up too late and the mental clarity to get through the afternoon without a second cup of coffee.

Nobody had really cracked the code on putting all of that into a single product. Until now.

What Makes Amare Collagen Different

Amare’s NeuCollagen is built around what they call six dimensions of total-body wellness: joint mobility, muscle health, skin, hair, nails, and cognitive wellbeing, all in one formula.

That last one is the part that caught my eye.

Cognitive wellbeing. In a collagen product.

Most collagen companies aren’t even thinking about the brain. Amare, however, has been thinking about almost nothing else for years. As The Mental Wellness Company, their entire product philosophy is built around the gut-brain connection, the idea that what happens in your gut has a direct and measurable effect on your mood, your focus, and your mental health.

So when they built a collagen product, they didn’t just throw in some peptides and call it done. Instead, they included Cerebiome, a clinically studied probiotic specifically shown to support the gut-brain axis, promote balanced mood, and help maintain healthy cortisol levels. The clinical research behind it showed a 44% reduction in feelings of everyday stress.

Let that sink in. A collagen product that addresses stress. That’s a different category entirely.

The Science Behind the Formula

In addition to Cerebiome, Amare included Collavant n2, which works through the gut-immune connection to slow collagen breakdown and support joint lubrication and recovery. Clinical research showed it reduces joint discomfort by 44%. They also added Mobilee Hyaluronic Acid Matrix for overall joint function and hydration.

Altogether, the formula is backed by 25 nutritional clinical studies. That’s not a marketing number. That’s a serious body of research supporting a single product, and it’s the kind of thing that makes conversations in the field a lot easier.

The Industry Drama Behind This Product Launch

Here’s the backstory that nobody else is connecting, and it makes this launch a lot more interesting.

Amare NeuCollagen didn’t happen in a vacuum. In fact, it appears to be the direct result of a collagen arms race that’s been quietly unfolding across three major direct selling companies over the past year.

It starts with a woman named Asma Ishaq. She was the CEO of Modere, the company famous for Liquid BioCell, arguably the most talked-about ingestible collagen product in the history of network marketing. Before Modere collapsed in 2025, Ishaq had also served as CEO of Amare Global. She understood both companies deeply.

When Modere shut down, the scramble for Liquid BioCell’s patents and intellectual property began immediately. Amare wanted it. They tried to acquire the rights to sell Liquid BioCell through their own network. They didn’t get it.

Shaklee won the bidding war, acquiring all of Modere’s products, trademarks, formulas, and patents, Liquid BioCell included. And then, to make the story even more interesting, Shaklee hired Asma Ishaq herself to lead their newly formed collagen division.

So within a few months: Modere collapsed, Shaklee acquired its crown jewel product, and the former CEO of both Modere and Amare joined Shaklee to run the whole operation. That left Amare needing a collagen answer of their own.

Enter NeuCollagen.

Whether that’s the direct motivation or not, the timing is impossible to ignore. Amare lost the bid for the most famous collagen product in direct selling, watched their former CEO land at the company that got it, and then launched their own collagen formula two months later.

Rather than trying to replicate Liquid BioCell, they went in a completely different direction, layering in the gut-brain axis science that Amare is known for and building something no collagen product on the market has attempted before. You can’t out-Modere Modere. Shaklee literally has the original formula. So instead, Amare built something different enough to stand on its own.

Why This Matters for Network Marketers in the Wellness Space

To be clear, this article isn’t a product review. I’m not an Amare distributor and I haven’t personally tried NeuCollagen.

But I pay close attention to what’s happening in the wellness product space because the health and wellness segment is the largest in direct selling, accounting for over 35% of the entire global market. Moreover, the companies and products that are winning right now are the ones solving bigger, more complete problems for their customers.

The direction Amare is moving with NeuCollagen is a smart one. Consumers are exhausted by fragmented supplement stacks. They don’t want to take six different things for six different problems. Instead, they want one thing that actually works across multiple areas of their life.

That trend isn’t going away. And the direct selling companies that build products around it, genuinely, with real clinical science and not just marketing claims, are the ones that are going to have the easiest conversations in the field.

The Product Has to Work First

Here’s what I’ve learned after decades in this profession: you can have the best system in the world, the best follow-up sequence, the most perfectly crafted funnel. But if the product doesn’t genuinely change how people feel, none of it matters. The reorders dry up. The word of mouth dies. And the business stalls.

The best businesses in direct selling are built on products that people would buy even if there was no income opportunity attached. Products that people talk about at the gym and in the group chat and at the dinner table because they actually noticed a difference.

A collagen product that addresses joints, skin, hair, nails, and stress-related mental wellbeing, all in one formula backed by clinical research, is exactly the kind of thing people talk about naturally.

The Bigger Picture

Amare Global has been positioning itself as a serious player in the mental wellness space for several years now. Their gut-brain axis framework is genuinely differentiated in a market full of wellness companies that all sound more or less identical.

NeuCollagen is a smart extension of that positioning. It takes a category that’s completely commoditized and injects the one dimension nobody else in collagen is talking about: the brain, the mood, the stress response.

That’s a product story worth paying attention to. And for the network marketers in the wellness space trying to figure out how to stand out in a sea of collagen powders, the lesson is straightforward.

Be the one who can explain what’s actually in the product and why it matters. Be the one who understands the science well enough to talk about it like a real person. Most importantly, be the one whose customers reorder because the product worked and not just because they like you.

That’s always been the job.
