A couple of weeks ago, I posed the following question:
I am wondering…how many Diamonds did BWW, WWDB and the TEAM break in December? Anyone?
Here is the recent answer I got from Michael aka "webbmentor", a WWDB associate who runs a blog called Instant Franchise:
Ty,
Actually there were 5 new diamonds
5 WWDB new diamonds (Quixtar only FYI)
Hal and Ann golden
http://golden.wwdb.biz/
Jim and Julie Harstad
http://harstad.wwdb.biz/
Bob and Shelly Kummer
http://kummer.wwdb.biz/
Scott and Chris Harimoto
http://harimoto.wwdb.biz/
Ed and Karen Grosboll
http://grosboll.wwdb.biz/
There are several hundred new korean affiliated WWDB diamonds- but those are tied into Leonard and Ester Kim
http://kim.wwdb.biz/
Hmmmm. Interesting. Michael claims that all of these Diamonds are new. Yet, I was personally at the F.E.D. (convention) in the 90’s when Golden, Harstad and Harimoto went Diamond, 1996, 1993 and 1994 respectively. Grosball and Kummer went Diamond in 2002-3. You can confirm the dates by looking here. As far as Korea goes, they are not in Quixtar, they are in Amway and if they are breaking Diamonds by the hundreds, it does not seem to be rubbing off on their American counter-parts.
I would like to say that I don’t get it, that I can’t understand how someone in WWDB could be so confused, except that I completely get it. They want you confused.
WWDB has broken 5 new qualified Diamonds in the last 10 years, and not a single one of them got started after 1995, in fact all WWDB Diamonds were at least at the Emerald level in 1995. In other words, not a single person that was not an Emerald in 1995 has attained the Diamond level in the World Wide Group, ever.
Are you still fired up?
Wow! Just cleaned out a cabinet in the house getting ready to get my taxes done and I'm reminded of how much money I wasted on tools in A/Q. I thought when I went to the dumpster I got rid of all that a year and a half ago.I guess the tools are still duplicating! By the way the EIBIZ group I was in didn't break a Diamond in the 16 years I was in it! The Diamonds that were in the group went in early 70's to early 80's.
Ty,
At least you corrected the fact that there were 5, before you were saying only 4. Who went Diamond in 2005 Ty? Please refresh my memory…
To your comment,
"As far as Korea goes, they are not in Quixtar, they are in Amway" The Kims are still WWDB Diamonds whether they are supported by Quixtar or Amway.
It's still the same corporation, same comp plan, same leadership isn't it? At least for one arguement it's the same corporation, in another arguement it's not? Look who is confused!
When we're talking 100+ Diamonds in Korea in 2003, 2004 and 2005, Amway is NOT Amway! And Amway is not Quixtar? Yeah Ty, you're confusing the hell out of people! I love it when the critics want to "overlook" the rest of the world because they don't want to admit that our company is growing. Sure, I would rather have more Diamonds here in the US, but if I can get them in Korea too, I'd take them in a heartbeat. A Diamond is a Diamond is a Diamond no matter which language they speak.
Ty, I really, really have to ask this question. When are you going to stop using Quixtar as a crutch?
Seriously, if you want to be "better" than Quixtar, then BE "better" than Quixtar!Alot of MLMers fail because they try and compare themselves to other MLM's, instead of focusing on their own benefits.
FYI here's a hint Ty, being "better" takes leadership qualities. You don't get that from jumping from one MLM to the next…
Michael,
One person went Diamond in 2005 and they are not even listed on the WWDB web site. Did they really go diamond? Did they already fall out of qualification?
Are you suggesting that better leadership comes from staying with a company that is a scam?
As far as Korea goes…how many diamonds do you have in Korea?
As for comparing MLM's…I write about MLM. I compare MLM's. Some are good and some are outright scams. Giving people the impression that Quixtar/WWDB is growing is the same as scamming people.
You continue scamming people and I will continue to tell the truth about WWDB, while helping real people make real money in Oasis LifeSciences.
When WWDB stops scamming people, I will stop talking about them. Deal?
You can't handle the comparison because it is the truth. Are you proud that WWDB had 5 diamonds in the last 10 years (only 4 of them listed on the WWDB site)?
Ty,
"One person went Diamond in 2005 and they are not even listed on the WWDB web site. Did they really go diamond? Did they already fall out of qualification?"
Read your Achieve magazine and find out when Tom Gonser became a Diamond. I am not sure why he doesn't have a website yet, possibly he hasn't even been in the Achieve magazine yet. Who knows, they are newly qualified diamonds this year.
I don't have any Diamonds in Korea but I am proud to be associated with them!!
What are we comparing here? A $1400 business to a $42 business? That's like comparing apples to oranges!
What's your profit off the sales kits Ty?
Michael,
How do you know the Gonsers are really qualified? Shouldn't they be on the web site by now? Even if they are qualified, that makes 5 diamonds in the last 10 years! Yet they continue to claim that "they are growing like crazy".
I get no profit off of a sales kit, they cost $20.
We are comparing two Network Marketing companies. One claims to be growing and one is really growing.
P.S. Are you ever going to tell us where you came up with the gibberish about all of those people above being new diamonds?
Ty,
I remember going to some big seminar where Don Storms marched tons of Diamonds and a few Crown's across stage from Korea. I heard being a Diamond in Korea is different because they have less products and qualifications are not the same as here. They are probably qualified Diamonds in Amway in Korea but would not qualify in Quixtar in America with the same volume. They do that to hype people up here to say "Look what they are doing in Korea!"
It is funny about all the lame blogging here. The reason Koreans are breaking so many Diamonds is due largely to the fact that Americans are typically lazy and get caught up in materialistic lifestyle that slows them down from being as successful. I know because I am one of those Americans. The only thing that seperates us American WWDB I.B.O.’s is a work habit. The Koreans, most of them show the business plan three times a day, because living under a communistic regime all their lives gives them more of a drive to be free!
Americans are fat, lazy, and spoiled. Even I can see that. It is not a ploy by Amway to motivate us here in the states to say that Korea excells with less products. It just states the simple fact that Koreans are motivated to succeed because they have lived a life of having less than freedom. If you take away a persons luxuries, freedoms, and liberties, you would be surprised at how they would act or do to get it back! Just look at our forefathers whom founded our great nation! Hello Mc Fly, Amway is the best MLM out there hands down. Canada also is limited on what products they have access to as well-Can you say Dan and Sandy Yuen, Rod and Penny Alcott.
I believe in the next 5 years you will see more Diamonds and Crowns cross stage than ever before in the companies 50 year history.
I am proud to be an Amway IBO and I will be one of those Diamonds. Spokane WA
CJ Redding: “I believe in the next 5 years you will see more Diamonds and Crowns cross stage than ever before in the companies 50 year history.”
That, my friend is what they have been saying for 20 years.
CJ Redding: “Hello Mc Fly, Amway is the best MLM out there hands down.”
That simply means that you have not made any comparisons or done any research. It is one of the worst.
I see greg Duncan who got Brad Duncan in the bussiness is bankrupt– Amway global has offerred a million to delay proceedings. Would you go into bussiness with people like that. Wouldn’t be my Doctor.
