IRVINE, Calif., Jun 17, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Arbonne has made a charitable donation of approximately 30,000 skin care products –with a retail value of almost $642,000–to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that sends care packages to the U.S. military. "Arbonne is grateful to have an opportunity to support our troops overseas in a very tangible way. Our military men and women willingly serve the country and put their lives on the line every day. These products are a small token of our appreciation and recognition for all they do," explains Brad Wayment, Arbonne Sr. VP Marketing.

Where did the bankruptcy stories get taken down from. I just heard my NVP denying the chapter 11 thing. They are saying again that arb is fine and there is no debt?????????
Chloe, the reorganization plan was filed yesterday. http://www.npginfo.com.
I am guessing some C & Ds were sent out to prominent bloggers and websites. Blog posts, forum comments, ezine articles, etc have also disappeared.
So much for free speech, right?
This development should tell everyone what they need to know. Very discouraging.
Hey gals,
What is going on? Has Big Brother taken over?
Ummmm…………How about BIG SISTA THE GANGSTA!
Well, just goes to show you, if Arbonne is doing this to “outsiders” who post on blogs, imagine what they do to “their own”. They have pulled the wool over some good peoples’ eyes for a couple of years……but their party is OVER!
What goes around ALWAYS comes around. Funny, but that is how it always seems to work. And they really need to put their big girl panties on, be a bit more humble and HONEST (yeah, right…why start now…) and take a little heat. Be accountable Arbonne. You created the damage. At least be honest and truthful. When criminals commit a crime, they usually serve a little time. You are no exception.
You know what’s so funny about the quote above on Operation Gratitude? Brad Wayment left Arbonne and is now with another MLM company. Hilarious!
Keep It Real,
Who is Brad Wayment? I never heard of him till you just mentioned his name. Was he an Exec there?
Seriously??? Seriously!!! Ty, what in the world went on here?
Brad Waymant was an executive that they brought in probably about 18 months ago. I don’t remember what his official capacity was, but the sight of him made many IC go “weak at the knees”. He wasn’t there long, I don’t believe.
I just can’t believe that there is no freedom of speech. This is not a free country. What kind of state are we living in. I thought things like this happen in countries like China, This is the USA and now companies like AR can close down people’s blog! Shame!!!!!
Hasn’t A@ proven over and over again that they are going to wield their power to viciously attack anyone who does not comply with their rigid way of doing things? How many people have been thrown under the bus? Zero tolerance! It’s all about their reputation which equates in the MLM business, money. They are continuing to try to protect their reputation but too late, the damage is already done by their own hands. This blog became too powerful. They were scrambling to keep up because all their cover-ups and deceit became public for everyone to see.
This too may have to go away. If so, I wish everyone the best in each of your individual pursuits whatever that may be.
KIR, you hit the nail right on the head. Cover Up is right. I noticed something with all the search engine results soon after Arbonne filed their Chapter 11. Initially, if you searched just for the word “Arbonne”, your search would link you to blog sites, Reuters, and Chapter 11 court docs…all dealing with their bankruptcy filing. However, a few days after, I noticed that a lttle SEO/SEM magic was going on because all of the top ENVP’s sites, along with Corporate’s site, was optimized for the first several (many, many, in fact) pages. I think their IT dept. was instructed to do anything they could to bury the story online.
Did anyone else notice that?
