We already know that Arbonne products are all over eBay, but is it possible that we will see Arbonne products on Target store shelves soon?
I wouldn’t put this in the done deal file or even the rumor file at this point, but there is some interesting information available online that has our readers talking.
Not long ago, a reader posted a link to something called the “Target Sustainability Study“. The study talks about Proctor and Gamble’s product line as it relates to the Target stores. Keep Proctor and Gamble in mind, because we will come back to them in a second.
The study turns interesting (on page 7) when Arbonne is listed as one of the “…new organic brands may be introduced. These brands include: Alba, Arbonne, Aubrey Organics…”.
Now, it doesn’t appear that this is an internal document from Target, P & G or Arbonne, it’s just a study, right?
Right. But does anyone remember where current Arbonne CEO, Kay Napier worked prior to her experience at McDonalds?
From the Arbonne web site:
Kay is a retired Vice President of the Procter & Gamble Company, where she was head of the North American Pharmaceutical division and the Corporate Women’s Health & Vitality platform. During her tenure, her division became the largest company profit contributor for North America.
Not a smoking gun, that’s for sure, but what do you think?
is it possible that we will see Arbonne products in Target soon?
Emotion set aside, business is business, and the bottom line, here, is that the bank that assumed 85% of Arbonne, in lieu of debts owed, just wants a return on their money. And, if this is the most plausible way to market their product to the masses, and for the bank to collect their dough, then they will do it at any expense, even if it means flipping from an MLM entity to a regular consumer products retail line. And, although an upsetting venture to all the Arbonne consultants, the Board of Directors/Bank won’t give a rat’s ass about their (your) feelings. They want their money. Yes, you Arbonne people may feel victimized by all these changes, but, let me ask you something. If you were the Bank, and Harvest Partners had glommed all the Arbonne profits, and didn’t pay you back the money you lent them, how would you feel? I’m willing to bet that Arbonne was one of their biggest depositors (at one point) as well as one of their largest liabilities, in terms of outstanding clinet loans. So the question of the day is, what would you be doing to preserve your business (The Bank)? I think Darwin’s Theory…Survival of the Fittest….is alive and well, and this potential (?) remarketing at-retail might just be the answer to all their financial problems. And, I don’t mean to sound cold or unfeeling for all of the Arbonne reps out there,…just saying, it’s business as usual. Sad, but true.
I wouldn't be surprised.
This is so sad…. I remember saying that I did not trust the new CEO there. I was then told I was being too negative. I feel so bad for the people that have put their trust on her and the company.
Me too Adriana!
The lack of integrity causes me to question the soundness of their entire nutritional line which they now talk about more than the skin care
maybe they will split the company and sell the substandard skin care in retail?
They have apparently come out with a NEW RE 9
For ” dry” skin!
Funny my skin wasn’t dry til I used the “improved ” RE9!!!!
They are such a messed up company! Such a farce and overpriced joke!
Yup, all the bank wants is their money back.
totally agree with errett. re9 advanced dehydrated my skin. now using something that totally hydrates from candace keefe—-former product development guru at arbonne. just like the original re9, but even better that candace introduced many years ago to arbonne.
Just saw someone on FB saying their makeup is organic. Why do these consultants lie. Are they so dumb that they can read the ingredients
Ditto to above comments. I never had issues with the original RE9 line but the RE9 Advanced was very drying. They are absolutely NOT organic… botanically based (which is better than most on the market) but stop saying you are “organic” when you are clearly NOT! Target? Well, I wouldn’t be surprised, that’s all I’ll say.
In December, former 35% Consultants who did not renew were suddenly reactivated with the offer to continue if they meet a specified volume over 12 months.
Question to Ty or anyone else – not renewing your consultant registration is the same as opt-ing out, right? Does it require written consent to reactivate consultants who have opted out?
They need to realize that many have left because they no longer like the products. Spoke to another former long time Client last night who stopped using the products after seeing her skin look worse. Results are what people are looking for, we all want to look and feel better. So thankful Candace Keefe started her own company.
We just had some Arbonne people jumping ship to my company and pulling 50,000 checks with our 3kin30days promo ( obviously more than 3k)…making us all drool ! It’s just a matter of are you growing or not and Arbonne is clearly not growing any more. This might be the time to collect your team and jump ship !
Wow, how about that! If this is true I hope the reps have been building & branding themselves to hedge their bets…
to any person who said that Arbonne foundation is organic. Look at this ingredient list of Science and plant ingredients. It is NOT ORGANIC and there is not way it is natural. It has some botanicals but look at the chemicals

WOW! This is a tough one. As a former day spa owner and a former consultant for a direct sales beauty company (not Arbonne), it pains me to see products that are specifically meant to be sold in salons or by consultants in big box stores or department stores.
As for products like, OPI, Redken, etc being sold in big box stores -those products either “fell off the back of a truck” or were purchased from a salon going out of business and that third party has an “in” with a big box store to have the products placed. Has anyone ever wondered why big box stores don’t have the same promo displays as a salon? Unfortunately companies like OPI, Redken, etc can’t keep up with all of this so it is left up to the consumer to not purchase these items from big box stores.
When these products are purchased in this manner, it is taking money out of the pockets of your stylist who earns commissions, the salon owner and the direct sales consultant. Let’s hear it for the little guy and make sure you purchase your salon quality products at a salon and your direct sales products from a consultant!
Really who cares if ARbonne is available in the stores. It will probably be the best way for them to pay the banks back.
Heard from source that a private equity group was negotiating to buy them. Would be surprised if they went total retail. Would kill marketers.
Everything is on ebay, apriori, mary kay, this doesn't even make sense.
Ha! Reading the comments below, it looks as though other network companies are trying to bash arbonne to bring consultants to their side to their very new company.
Arbonne claims to be natural and organic, yes, some ingredients are organic, but not all AND the products are full of solvents, naturally or chemically derived, that cannot be considered natural.
Just to correct you. Arbonne has never claimed to be all natural. We Are pure safe and beneficial. We take the best of nature and safest of science to bring people targeted results .
I apologize then… I don't consider that to be pure though although I do think arbonne has wonderful products and I commend them for being safe and I still use a lot of their products and recommend them to people too. I
also think arbonne is a wonderful company! company!company
Sorry, my autocorrect just went crazy…
First of all, yes, I am with another company. That said, I hope this is not true. I have many friends who are still with Arbonne and this is harmful to the industry as a whole.
If Arbonne’s corporate office would have been honest the field instead of telling them the bankruptcy was to put them in a better financial position, their formulas were improved and everything was business as usual they would be in a much better place now. https://www.npginfo.com/CourtFilings.aspx Sad…they could have been giants.
This is against corporate policy and Arbonne's mission that Kay Napier upholds. This is silly media hype from someone with an agenda. It is also against our policy to sell on E-Bay and something corporate continues to work to stop.
It will never happen!
It saddens me that these kinds of stories are being circulated by people that left Arbonne. I know many of you that posted had nothinng to do with Arbonne, but others are former consultants and have vested interest in making sure this information goes viral. When I asked Kay about this last week in an email her response was, "This couldn't be further from the truth" I am a National Vice President with this wonderful company that I love. We are experiencing some amazing momentum with our 30 Days to Feeling Fit plan right now. People are regaining their health, vitality and self esteem in such a big way. Arbonne is a product line that could never be sold in a retail setting because the power of our program is in educating the consumer. We have some of the most passionate and committed consultants on the planet because we have products that are changing lives. I wish the best to those who have left and I suggest they keep their focus on their new company as we go forward in momentum with ours. You see our culture is very unique. We are far more mission minded than money minded. One more thing…Arbonne is a company built on integrity and has an open ingredient policy. Arbonne has never claimed to be organic. In the next 12 months you will watch Arbonne transform itself into a network marketing company head and shoulders above ALL compitition. All I can say is WATCH OUT WORLD!
Nice Barbara but Arbonne said that 2 years ago and nothing happened. You know that Rita leaving is not 100% true. We all know that she had always said she would leave in a coffin. That is the truth!!! ARbonne is not that truthful about everything and I understand your position since you are still with ARbonne as a NVP. I hope it still works for you but everyone else can speak their mind because it is a free world.
My only comment to B Beatty is
Arbonne in my opinion is not Pure Safe at least to my standards and it is highly debatable if it is Beneficial from a financial and skin care and nutritional standpoint. All you need are a few really good dictionaries and a bit of research to see exactly what’s in everything
I am not saying what Arbonne should be or should do . That is up to “them”
But it behooves the company to at least be congruent. I do not find that to be so.
The RE9 ; well you all never brag about that anymore
And for me and maybe others ,well money is important because we have to keep the lights on and food around to eat
Maybe since you are all taken up with your mission driven platform you should just become a 501 C and call it a non profit company
Many VPs are cashing in on their performance accounts you know
Their is no robust growth and perhaps if there were more transparency it would foster confidence
It’s common sense . People making healthy incomes need more than greed to walk away. Many who have left are full of integrity and have dreams. And it does take money to fuel them.
To call people just money minded and tout Arbonne as so much more mission minded is nonsense
If you are so mission minded than why are you all so concerned with downplaying how terribly ineffective the RE9 is and stop redirecting people to the nutritional line to avoid it
My background and experience allows me to recognize the information is all there if one stands back and looks carefully without emotion in the way.
Arbonne had the potential at one time
If it still does than toss some real meat out there instead if jargon, cliches, and empty promises about how great the company is going to be in the future!
I think they need to really revamp how and what they want to be. It seems now that they are really try to push with this 30 day feel great. Sad thing is they keep going back to skincare then the vitamins.
What I found is shocking is on Ebay some consultant(of course they say they are not) is selling 19 RE9 sets. This is an obvious indication that some VP is buying volume to keep their volume for VP. What person has 19 sets,20 primers, 5 day creams, tons of Christmas products on sale. It is someone who is buying just to keep afloat. This happened in the States before when people were doing the result approach. They buy the sets and hope others will join. This is why SUE CASSIDY’s name popped up in the UK in an article about her being the person to start the ARbonne pyramid. Once people start with that it becomes that way. If ARbonne was to be a billion dollar company they would have the lawyers that Louis Vuitton has to stop people who sell fake purses. Well the same holds for this as consultants have over 10,000 listed on ARbonne. Where are the lawyers. well, Arbonne doesn’t have the money to be able to enforce that. It is a sad day at ARbonne. That is why there is a war with some of the consultants that do parties and others who are moving up fast because they get there by buying around $1500+ volume and then get 4 right away to do the same. Then they are DM. AFter that those 4 try to get 4 or 5 at $1500+ and then that DM becomes AREA. Then if all those next 20-25 consultants who joinged do the same with going with $1500+ that AREA becomes RVP.
Then secret is they all have to keep doing it. However not everyone can and that is why some make it to VP and others lose motivation. Yes, it is great to make it and tell others that all they have to do but in reality they all still have keep the volume and it doesn’t happen. 2% make it and the others fall into despair.
I wish those luck who made it but you need an autoship of products and if people want to follow this 30 system- well I hope they start looking the part since I find most of the NVPs and RVPs a little flabby and chunky. If you want to look the healthy part, then use the product and exercise. That is how you will get people to notice your product. Your skin will look better if you look fit and healthy and they will have a better approach to the potential clients.
Just saying……. I also saw the videos with Kay and Gina Murphy and they both need to do Tricep exercises badly if they plan on wearing sleeveless shirts. How can top people of companies wear clothes like that and say how great the product is. Even though they are corporate they all need to look the part of Health and Wellness. Kay needs help with better professional image. Gina does look heavy and the camera shows that. I’m not trying to be mean or judgmental but the general public thinks things like that without saying it. If they are on camera they need clothes to accent their better features, not expose their not so good features.
Becki, I must say you have hit the nail on the head with what was the beginning of the problems with Arbonne. I too bought into the Results Approach and while that may work for some it does not work for all. If instead people had spent that money on products for themselves so that they could really get results from the products and then be able to share those results with others I believe Arbonne would still be going strong. The fact is that not everyone wants to change their skincare but they might have been interested in what the health and wellness products could have done for them. When ever I mentioned Arbonne to anyone all they could say was I tried the skincare but it is too expensive. Most of these people had no idea we even carried any other products. Unbelievable. I hung on with Arbonne for 5 years and have recently gone with another company. It just came to a point where I was tired of having to battle the negative publicity. Maybe someday Arbonne will turn it around, but I couldn’t financially wait around until that day.
Yes, ARbonne has seen brighter days. Since 2005/2006 it was at the top. However, since 2005 many companies have better products. There are organic skincares now that are organic or at least natural with organic ingredients. ARbonne is the same from 2005. The just only use botanicals with synthetic science ingredients. Basically, their version of safe ingredients with botanicals. They could have used research to improve.
What I find funny is all the consultants telling others that they are organic. STOP the LIES!!! If they are saying that, it means they are not comfortable with their line.
I started using an amazing line- but it is not a Networking company(wish it was) It’s called 100% pure skincare. It is available in shops and online. The line has certified organic ingredients listed and the rest are natural but not all be certified. However, they don’t use synthetic ingredients. It’s amazing and I love their line. I wish ARbonne was like that but it is not.
This line 100% pure uses fruits in their makeup. The mascara smells like blueberries.
So as a former consultant I now use this line and love it! I tried to use aRbonne again but I didn’t really like it. Their primer is good but it is not 100% natural. This other company has a good primer and the makeup is great. Good coverage and turns into a powdery finish when blended in. The foundation comes from France.
Arbonne is big hat, no cattle. Really they are so behind in their skincare quest. I use a certified organic line that really is pure, safe and beneficial. They need to change what they are doing. I will scream the next time I hear someone say that arbonne skincare and makeup is organic. Stop the LIES consultants. Corporate should have made the organic move over a decade ago. Now they can’t because they don’t have the funds. Everything is on borrowed CASH. The trips are a joke since they are still using all the credit they can get. They are not fixing their debt problem. All the prizes are just for show and they are bought on credit.
I was a former ERVP and Ace award winner who stopped working my business after the chapter 11 fiasco. As an attorney I could not believe the lies and spins they were telling the consultants especially the Arbonne blog they wanted everyone to post to saying how amazing the products were to keep Internet traffic to positive posts. I signed with another company one year ago which has nothing to do with skin care. Food and now wine. When I approached an Arbonne rep about looking at the products because she loves to cook she told me she was Arbonne through and through! DOES THIS MEAN SHE EATS IT TOO?! I was not trying to recruit her but offer her a better, healthier, safer and more convenient way to get the quality she likes and can afford. Arbonne reps are told to explain how great the network marketing industry is yet I can guarantee very few support or even believe in it outside their orange fog. I hope the company does not tank because it would be bad for the industry which I do support and love but it they continue doing business like they do I don’t see how it can survive.
What companys does food and wine? Interesting. We all have to eat and REd wine is great with rich foods.
***Pretty sure she is talking about Rastelli Direct***

What everyone should ask is why people have left Arbonne. And to clarify I left as an ervp making money so it wasn't because I failed it was because they were. Chapter 11 is not a good thing no matter how you want to spin it!
My hubby said, after Chapter 11 it still means that Arbonne has problems since they are owned by the banks who are always still looking for a buyer. Also heard that some company is looking at buying them now but it will change everything with ARbonne. Stay tuned…………………..
Barbara Beaty, I think there is a hidden message in Kay’s email. She said:
“In the next 12 months you will watch Arbonne transform itself into a network marketing company head and shoulders above ALL compitition.”
HEAD AND SHOULDERS? Really? A P&G product? She’s having a laugh.
I think organic is what would define PUre, safe and beneficial. ARbonne has synthetic ingredients mixed with botanicals. That is not very pure or safe. This can cause many reactions in skin and Arbonne needs to still take our many ingredients. This is why Arbonne has not signed the safe Cosmetics website. It’s because they are not listed as safe. Go look it up under google and you will see that many ingredients used in the RE9, FC5 and baby line are not considered safe. This is true!
