I am going to give you a link to an audio "Kate" message from Bill Britt regarding the name change in a second but I have some comments first.
Britt seems to be happy and positive about the name change, but I wonder, what choice does he have? I don’t see Bill Britt having many options outside of Amway/Quixtar at this point. There are few companies that would put up with his (let’s call it stuff).
The second thing that is interesting to me is that Britt suggested that Amway/Quixtar was about to double the bonuses paid to those below the diamond level. I have been telling people for a long time that Quixtar has one of the worst compensation plans in the industry. Of course, IBO’s argue with me (and ignore the facts) until they are blue in the face. Now Quixway is doubling the bonus money. If they were paying out anything near the amount of money they should have been paying, there would be no way possible to double those bonuses. If they truly are doubling the bonus money, good for them and good for Quixway IBOs.
Stay tuned. We will of course report on all of the changes.
Here is the link to the Bill Britt Audio from The Truth About Amway site.
Thanks for the information
hey ty! I hope all is well. I'm an IBO so let me give you some more info on this "doubling of bonuses" deal..
The first, and biggest, change is the Q12 bonus. This bonus can be obtained in a few ways: 7500 PV all 12 months of the fiscal year, OR if you go over 7500 PV by November and your total PV for the entire fiscal year is over 108,000 PV (which means you really need to go Ruby by the end of your Platinum qualification). The previous Q12 bonus was a $10,000 check, and it is NOW a $20,000 check. This bonus is entirely separate from the regular performance bonus schedule.. I think this is the money Bill is referring to..
Next is the new bonuses after you go silver (7500 PV). At 10,000 PV you get an extra 2% of all of your BV (outside anyone in your group silver and above, or what's called 'Ruby PV'). At 12,250 PV you get an extra 4% of the 'Ruby PV'. At 15,000 PV you get the 4% + the 'Ruby Bonus' of 2% which totals 6% all together..
To give some # examples, if you're a silver or above making about $3000/mo (you probably have 9-12 bonus checks btw) and you're over 10,000 PV, it's about an extra $500.
If you're over 12,500 PV, it's about an extra $1250 in addition to the performance bonus (which with 12 bonus checks you're probably over $3500-4000/mo pbs only)
If you're over 15,000 PV, the extra bonus would be $2,250 in addition to your performance bonus (which should be over $4,000)..
My personal opinion is that the company knows people aren't going out and getting the width they need to be profitable and this is an extra bonus to the leaders who will go out and personally sponsor a bunch of people.
I hope this clears up confusion about the bonuses.
