One of the best ways I have found to build a Network Marketing business is through the use of an opt in email list. Strangers are way more likely to give you an email address than a phone number.
Here are the basics:
1. Collect email addresses by networking and interacting with people. This can be done in person, over the phone, or on line.
2. Send out a weekly email to your list. Include valued information such as a link to an article that you found interesting along with product promotions and a conference call schedule. Don’t just "pimp your deal", make sure there is real value in your email.
3. Keep sending the weekly email until the person either becomes a customer, becomes a business partner, or opts out of your email.
The important thing is not to give up. I have had people become customers after 4 months of emails (that’s 18 emails!) because we ran a promotion that really interested them. Be sure to include at least 2 ways for the person to opt out of your list and have fun.
