I heard from a few people in the last week that Emerald Passport had closed their doors for good. Anyone know why?
There’s a good blog post about why they ceased operation here.

Wow. Good marketing but inaccurate info. This information completely incorrect – not even close. Emerald Passport did not have any policy stating no online or internet marketing allowed. I worked with the company for a year quite recently – left due to their lack of a system that could be easily duplicated – and all the leaders I dealt with in the company not only used but promoted lead advertisers (www.bestleads.com) and did online marketing w/ their own websites. They didn’t even push warm market calls like most places suggest. A gentleman I know who was a leader in the company seemed shocked that they had closed their doors just a week after having one of their seminars, but that would not surprise me due to the amount of $ exchanged to have one. I agree that working with a company in this day and age where you would be required to market face to face only is ridiculous, but EPI was not a company which required this.
The guy in Australia running Emerald got pinged by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). They closed him down for running a pyramid scheme
