Back in 2003 when I first started blogging, my thought process was:
“If I could get a few people reading what I write, then I might be a able to get a couple of leads.”
I didn’t really have any concept of creating content as a marketing strategy so I just kind of wrote my opinions about the Network Marketing industry.
Now looking back, there are a couple of things that I would really focus on.
First, I would spend more time studying and learning.
Second, I would be more consistent in practicing what I learned. Now, I did a pretty good job of this in the beginning because no one wrote more blog posts about the Network Marketing industry between 2003 and 2008 than I did. But once I attained a certain level of success I let my blogging consistency slide. I didn’t think it was as important. Which was a big mistake.
Third, I would spend more time sharing and teaching what I learned.

Hey Ty,
Great post! Thanks for sharing. Study, practice and teach (SPT) or learn implement and teach (LIT). Love it. Cheers!

Nice one Ty, this blog is actual proof to what you are saying.
You just gave your own rendition of Jim's stuff and it is your voice making it different.
I can do that too. Thanks for sharing
What's great is that anyone can learn, practice and then teach!
Thanks for sharing this, Ty! Yes, mastering one strategy at a time I believe is key….otherwise it's easy to become overwhelmed. Love learn, practice, teach .. great post!
Focus Focus Focus right?
I guess you shouldn’t have let your blog consistency slide. But its never too late to start afresh.

When you reach a certain level of success (multiple six figures) it can be easy to forget about the little things that got you there and get busy with other things.
Ty, this is really insightful and a good post! Always good to learn from some one else’s experience
Thank you!
