It has not been a good week for Network Marketing companies who operate without a tangible product…
Here is a link to the court documents claiming that Liberty League is an:
"unlawful and unethical scheme to…sell personal development products and seminars"
This type of news is never good for a Network Marketing company, but Liberty League (LLI) has dealt with this type of lawsuit in the past.
"Operate without a tangible product"? What do you mean? Liberty League's primary product is a home-study course that arrives in an 8-pound box and is shipped via FedEx.
I've never heard of an "intangible product" that's shipped via FedEx, have you? 🙂
This is nothing but some disgruntled associates who want to blame Liberty League for their lack of results. It's got nothing to do with the survival of Liberty League.
Oh, and their "class action" suit? It has a total of three people involve. My bet is that the whole thing gets thrown out as "frivolous".
Liberty League can be a great secondary business for the amway/quixtar kingpins who already sell personal development products and seminars. or maybe there could be a buy out.
I do not see the case being thrown out as being frivolous at all. The 3 currently involved in the lawsuit, have legit claims against the company. I am sure anyone involved with the company would not agree, but as an outsider looking in, their main complaints seem very valid and it does look like LLI is to blame for not being honest.
I think this lawsuit has no merit what so ever. I am NOT with liberty league. But no where in this suit does it state anywhere anything that was done wrong by liberty league. It even says many times that there is no requirement to buy the product. Who put the gun to these peoples heads to have them pay the money. Who stole the money from their bank accounts? I mean seriously. Who twisted their arms. I have a friend who bought a tanning salon three years ago and didnt make money, should he go after the company because of his lack of business sense. Liberty League is a hard business but no where are you guaranteed results and these people are idiots who dont deserve a cent.
Frivolous – I don't think so.
I was looking at joining Liberty League International but decided against it after reading real life experiences on sites like http://www.moneyxperiment.com and http://www.scam.com just to name a couple.
Judging from the comments I wouldn't touch this so called opportunity with a ten foot pole.
Yea the deeper you look the scarier it gets. Not only is the product under par, full of hot air and with no substance, it's just so damn expensive. Then there is the criminal backgrounds and undisclosed relationships within the company. Then there are the undisclosed businesses within the company owned by the owners, the unjustified costs with changing a ticket (10%), the refusal for refunds etc.
This is one of the most unethical companies I have reviewed and the fact that they use the arena of personal development to rip people off is completely immoral.
Thank you so much for every person that bothered to write about their experience to help people like my wife and I who were considering taking out a $30k loan to be in this business. THANK-YOU!
People lie and lie and lie and lie. I have read posts where people "claim" to have lost $40k and $50k in this business. How can you when their first product is only $1495 and ALL products TOTAL equal less than $23K. People who come to these sites to complain have NO PROOF of ANYTHING they say. An intelligent person would simply go to the company website and read EVERYTHING for themselves. You will see what the products are and see what you have to do to qualify as a reseller of those products. If you want to do it as a business…great! If you don't…keep looking for something else. Folks, it's really not that hard!
There are people who want to engage in a $15 sign up for a business and there are people who want to roll with the heavy hitters. By the way, I have seen business' that are free to sign up and people still complain about those and claim they are a scam.
Liberty League tells you exactly what is needed to position yourself. There is no negating that FACT….PERIOD.
It's an opportunity. Take it or don't. I have had great success with Liberty League and would appreciate people on these sites to speak for themselves and stop trying to push your failures or beliefs onto everyone else.
I read in an earlier post that someone went onto moneyxperiment for information…what a joke. I personally posted information on moneyxperiment and the moderator banned me once and deleted any post that made since and was in favor of Liberty League.
All of these posts are "moderated" and the people in control let you see what they want you to see and delete what they don't.
If you read ANY post, it is the same 5 people engaging in conversation back and forth on any given post and they all say the same thing. For everyone one person on ANY post that has a complaint, I can show you two that are having GREAT success with Liberty League hands down…GUARANTEED!
Hi James,
Awesome to hear that you and your money were saved from the predators of Liberty League International and all because people came out and SHARED their experience.
I am an ex member and decided to walk unfortunately AFTER I was separated from my money. To stop others falling prey I've made a number of contributions about my experience with Liberty League International on http://www.moneyxperiment.com – check it out. There are positive and negative experiences on this site just wish I found it before my money was taken.
All the best.
LLI#1 was banned from the site for threatening and hostile behaviour.
There are some existing posts made by LLI#1 – pre ban – which leave plenty to be desired.
I invite everybody to go read the posts on http://www.moneyxperiment.com which were made by LLI#1 and make your own decision. When foul language and threats began to surface on continuing posts by LLI#1 the moderator had no choice but to step in.
People have the right to share the experience, positive or negative, it's an individual experience. It's the same pattern made by die hard Liberty League followers like LLI#1 – anybody with a negative experience is a naysayer.
All comments are posted unedited and nothing is deleted unless, like LLI#1, you are threatening and rude.
I do not understand how LLI#1 can accuse the moderators of http://www.moneyxperiment.com with "let you see what they want you to see" as there are people who contribute their positive experiences also that are posted for ALL to read.
LLI#1, your comments were not posted due to the threats and hostile nature of your comments left. I wish I could have posted them just so people could see the things you were saying but chose not to due to the wording and putting down of other members of MoneyXperiment.com. It was the nature of mostly your comments that caused us to bring on a legal team and begin logging the hostile comments for future reference. People can see non-hostile comments from both the supporters and disbelievers of Liberty League International on our site and form any opinion they please.
I just proved my point. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, most of the posts that you read ALL OVER THE INTERNET are the same handful of people with dialouge back and forth about the company. Now if Deborah and Rusty and all of the crew from MoneyXperiment are so successful with their own bashing site, why come here. I'll tell you why, because they are fishing and feeding off of all the negative energy that other people have about the company. Yes, there are people who don't care for Liberty League and tons who do.
I was actually reading a recent post on their negative site about a person sharing their experience with Liberty League. then after that post, it's weird because the crew then claims that this person is three or four different people, including me. Read it for yourself. Yeah, I know it will help MoneyXperiments ratings but they are soooooooo jealous of Liberty League that they could use all the help they can get. The visitor said they were bascially doing ok with the company and of course based on the posts from Deborah, she obviously failed miserably with Liberty League so because she wasn't successful she automatically accuses the visitor sharing their experience as lying! That is absurd! They are not interested in the truth or people's positive experience. They would bask in glory had this visitor come to the site and said, they were not making any money at all.
Again, read the post on their site and you will see what I'm talking about. It doesn't matter what the person put, if it's in favor of Liberty League and too positive for their liking, they will have a problem with it and ask for bank statements and all kinds of stupid things to accommodate their own feelings. There is a guy that also posted that he lost weight, basically he's saying that he got his mindset right because of the product and was able to accomplish that goal. Then you get Deborah chiming in and she says something retarded like "let us know how the products are changing your life" or something to that effect. HELLOOOOOOOO Deborah, he just said one of the things. You, Rusty and all of the other people who control that site are so bitter and jealous about Liberty League's success. I point blank said in my post that I am not even a member of Liberty League so I have no interest whether anyone joins or not. However, I am intelligent enough to read and I know that the amount of factual misinformation in forums about Liberty League is absolutely staggering.
I challenge anybody, read the forums and then get the information from the company website. Then read the forums and look at the information about costs, products, etc. on the company website and then read the forums and check out the company website. You will quickly see the FACTS, Period.
By the way, Deborah and Rusty claim that their site has former and current Liberty Leaguers who participate in providing information but then her comment on a recent post says and I quote "It’s funny though all the negative programming on this site is coming from one or two current Liberty League members." Deborah, you can't be serious. ARE YOU LYING when you claim the site has former and current Liberty League associates? What is your purpose for specifically saying something about "one or two" current LL members when you claim many are a part of the post. Yea, you twist EVERYTHIHNG. Again, I invite anyone to read the posts preceding the one she has made that statement on and see if there is any negative programming by anyone. People are simply giving their experience but again, when the one individual gives his or her experience, because they said they recently joined and were making sales or qualified to make sales or whatver, the MoneyXperiment team accuses this person of lying. The people in charge on that site have a personal vendetta for LL and are truly hopeless and are obviously the ones hoping from blog to blog to blog and from forum to forum to forum to give Liberty League a bad name. That is obvious since they have their own personal blog/forum/website or whatever you want to call it, dedicated to bashing several companies if anyone is bold enough to open the floor for it. Again, they claim it is for sharing experiences but you better not have a positive one about Liberty League or you are challenged on it. If someone posts something (site unseen, no proof or anything) and they claim to have lost $20k in the business, Rusty and Deborah would be praising an entry like that.
If the hard core truth was an absolute requirement and anything other than that cause you to be sued, MoneyXperient would have been sued a long time ago and still might be. They are so concerned with LL's frivilous lawsuit, yet they see how easy it is for some unsubstantiated claims to be made which was the case with MoneyXperiment which caused them to scramble and seek legal consultation.
I am waiting for the right moment and they will be FLAT on their face. Isn't it funny when people are so ignorant that they participate in you building a case against THEM! Have fun Rusty and Deborah or whoever. Like I said, I'm not even a part of Liberty League and can still managed to get you all riled up over my personal opinion. Amazing!
Helloooooooooooo to you too LLI#1. I really must be getting on your nerves – then again the truth hurts doesn't it!
I don't see there being anything wrong with me participating on different blogs – what is it to you anyway? I've been on a total of 3 different blogs, this one, http://www.moneyxperiment.com and another about Liberty League reviews. Tony Rush does it all the time! Tony seems to be a frequent flyer when it comes to blogging there is nothing wrong with it.
I'll take you up on your challenge but guarantee you will run and hide. To all the people who look thru the company website and have further questions regarding the cost I will show you proof of how much it really cost ME to run my Liberty League business. I SAY IT AGAIN I WILL PROVE IT!
The answer to your question is NO I'm not lying. If I was being untruthful, like you, I would use a fake name. As I have nothing to hide I use my own name.
I hold all the proof in my hands regarding exactly how much my time with LLI cost me. What do you base your mindless rants on?
There is more than one person, apart from myself, on the site who has had a negative experience you only need to READ thru the site. Then again people like yourself rely on select vision to get thru the day 🙂
On one part of your well scripted comment you wrote "the visitor said they were bascially doing ok with the company" it wasn't a "basic" comment as you put it. It was a useless piece of information that attacked everyone who contributed to MoneyXperiment. Your inviting everybody to read the post and YES I believe EVERYBODY should read the post and my comment that you are referring to. It definately is NOT a "I'm doing really well in the company" comment. This person who posted under the name "Confused" came across as being a very angry person and yes I believe it is you.I replied with "why are you here" and this obviously made you very angry as you decided to post on this blog under yet another alias.
It was ME responding to YOU entering the forum as "Confused", yes LLI#1 you, it wasn't the crew as you claim.
I am not apart of MoneyXperiment.com I am only exercising my right to voice my opinion and I choose to do so with MoneyXperiment.com.
I actually didn't fail miserably while I was an associate with LLI – I actually did quite well. It just didn't feel morally right to rip people off and I was sick of being harrassed into spending more money on products that were, in my opinon, over priced.
What's wrong with me congratulating someone on losing a certain amount of weight? Yes I was encouraging this gentleman on keeping me, and all other readers, informed of the benefits of Beyond Freedom. It's a positive I was encouraging on the site yet you let fly the accusations of positive comments not being welcome.
For somebody who has had nothing to do with Liberty League International you sure are getting emotional about it and your calling me retarded. It's actually you who appears to be retarded and very retarded at that as you are committing a tremendous amount of time and energy for a cause you have no involvement with 🙂
Your more than welcome to follow me "from blog to blog to blog and from forum to forum to forum" hey if it gives YOU something to do then why not. It may get a little boring for you though you may not have anything to contribute as you say your not apart of Liberty League International.
You can wait as long as you like for the moment I am supposedly going to fall FLAT on my face – you'll be waiting quite a while. Then again it's quite flattering having someone WAIT for me 🙂
Your threats, along with all your previous lifeless comments, fly straight over me 🙂
I really don't have any time for you especially if you do not have anything to do with Libert League International. I'll ask you again why are you here?
Use the Law of Attraction, which I believe works, and attract some phsycological guidance into your life – you need it 🙂
LLI#1, many times it does seem that the post comes from two different people on the site. Most people who contact moneyxperiment.com don’t want to tell their stories themselves out of fear of being sued or victim of hostile actions from people like you. After all, by the time they have participated in LLI the advisors have all of their personal info and know way too much about them. You can understand how that might be right? How many times have you threatened or wished moneyxperiment.com to be sued now? Strange since you claim you’re not even affiliated with them isn’t it? And on the topic of liability, remember the time you came to the site and posted comments about the owner having a drug abuse problem and a criminal record? Those claims are of course false and slanderous in nature and leave a certain level of liability on your part.
All that aside, I have stated before, moneyxperiment is a place for people to tell their story, whether it be good or bad, I don’t care. It seems it’s the current members that have trouble posting their stories and keeping them structured and helpful. They are the ones that seem to always let emotion take over and lose control leading to a belligerent rant.
I invite you like I have Tony, Rachel and others to send me your story about LLI, I will post it. Tell us how it has worked for you, your hardships overcome in making it work. Show us proof of your income claims. Whatever you feel will show a different side of the story your free to send to me, I will gladly post it.
Best Wishes
