NEWARK, OHIO — The Longaberger basket company has named Robin Crossman its new president to take over for Tami Longaberger, who has been serving as president for about two years.
The central Ohio-based Longaberger Co. announced the appointment Thursday. Tami Longaberger will continue as chairwoman and chief executive.
Crossman has worked in marketing, sales, branding and logistics in the direct-sale industry for more than 20 years, holding leadership roles at both family-owned and start-up companies.
The handmade basket-maker has about 2,000 employees. It sells items through 45,000 independent home consultants.
I have never heard of this company. I have been doing some research on it, and its a very successful business, with hundreds of millions of $ turnover. I was very impressed, and some nice NFL baskets too, good refreshing article!
