Mary Kay continues their support for domestic violence survivors at San Diego Leadership Conference. Keep up the good work Mary Kay!
Mary Kay Inc. will host more than 7,500 independent sales force members from the United States and Canada during its annual Leadership Conference January 10-16 at the San Diego Convention Center. Mary Kay’s Leadership Conference is expected to contribute more than $43 million in overall economic impact to San Diego.
During the event in coordination with The Mary Kay Foundation, Mary Kay Independent Sales Directors demonstrate their support for domestic violence survivors by donating women’s business suits to area domestic violence organizations. This year’s recipients for the annual Suits for Shelters program include the YWCA of San Diego County and the Center for Community Solutions in San Diego. Both facilities provide shelter and support services to domestic violence survivors in the area. The YWCA and Center for Community Solutions also will each receive a $20,000 grant from The Mary Kay Foundation to support their efforts. Since its inception, The Mary Kay Foundation has given more than $22 million in grants to domestic violence organizations nationwide.
