If I was active in an MLM it certainly wouldn't be Monavie. But I'll give them credit for out-Xangoing Xango. The products look awesome…but if you're looking for extra energy I'd take a look at your diet and maybe get off the couch and exercise.
This from FoodBev.com:
The new drink is a fusion of the acai berry and natural energy ingredients designed to deliver a boost of sustained energy to recharge body and mind.
According to MonaVie founder, chairman and CEO Dallin A Larsen, the new product is revolutionary in the functional beverage category and will be a welcome point of entry to the company’s signature acai nutritional beverages.
“With MonaVie EMV,” said Larsen, “millions of consumers will find a healthy alternative to soft drinks and overly caffeinated energy drinks.”
MonaVie EMV officially launches in the US on 20 June 2009 at MonaVie’s Salt Lake City Super Regional event. Consumers first caught a glimpse of the product’s brilliant blue packaging as the EMV branded race car, driven by veteran racer Tomas Scheckter, roared onto the track at the Indy 500 this past May.
“MonaVie EMV delivers the perfect equation for healthy, sustained energy without the ‘crash and burn’ side effects typically associated with energy drinks,” said vice president of product management, Jeff Graham. “Consumers – from the busy soccer mom to the extreme snowboarder – are looking for ways to increase their energy levels, and EMV provides the solution.”
Dan,
I'm not one of them but I'm sure that there are a lot of people who care about a new product being launched from monavie. And yes…the branding of monavie is very nice.
Dan,
If people don’t care, they should. Especially those people who are consuming those horribly unhealthy products you find in the stores. And I’m certain that the message MonaVie is trying to send is not that anyone should substitute this product, or any of their products, for eating healthy or exercise, so let’s be real here.
As far as you getting involved with MonaVie, tell us Dan, which company would you get involved with IF you were into MLM, and why? Just curious. I’d like to know why ANYONE considering an MLM opportunity wouldn’t get involved with the fastest-growing company in the fastest growing industry (health & wellness) with the fastest growing product sector (energy drinks) with the #1 superfood Acai, and the #1 money earner in ALL of MLM? World-renowned economist Paul Zane Pilzer calls the merging of the wellness industry and network marketing “one of the greatest entrepreneurial opportunities in the history of our nation”. Do you disagree?
Maybe you think it’s too late, and you’ve already missed the boat? Or maybe you are one of those that thinks that to be successful in MLM that you need to get in pre-launch and drag your whole sphere of influence into an opportunity that has a 98% chance of failure in the first 3 years?
Wow you touched a nerve there Dan. Don’t you know by now how sensitive we are about our MLMs? Some people would walk on hot coals rather than hear 1 negative word said about their company!
It is interesting though… which company would you join and why are you reporting on MLM if you’re not involved in it?
Curious..
