OK, this is pure speculation and theory…so feel free to poke holes in it and come up with your own.
Here is what will happen with Quixtar in the U.S.:
1. Alticor will sell Quixtar to a group of IBO Leaders.
2. Alticor will relaunch Amway in the U.S.
3. The Amway core products SA8, LOC and Nutrilite will stay with Amway.
4, XS Energy Drink Products and the partner stores will stay with Quixtar. (For those that don’t know, XS Energy Drink is owned by a WWDB Triple Diamond)
Amway will train it’s own IBOs. Quixtar will allow the IBO leaders to continue with their training systems.
If I were Amway, I would launch an energy drink or liquid nutritional
product that is a little better, stronger and faster than XS, ASAP.
What do you think?
If I was President of Alticor/Quixtar, I'm not sure I would sell the name and business of Quixtar to a group of IBO leaders. Would you set up an automatic competitor to your business?
I might relinquish the XS brand distribution rights back to the original owners. But that also seems counter-productive.
I'm more inclined to think that Alticor may re-establish Amway as a brand name for the core products.
However, this post certainly sparks the imagination; you should get some response.
Dave
Kingpins ruled Quixtar when internet was not that common. But their power diminishes and they won't be able to sell as much as time goes on.
So Alticor must embrace web 2.0 combined with it's actual power: Actual Sales person.
Fun!
If Quixtar is sold to IBO leaders the tools and training system scam will continue and good, hard working, unsuspecting new recruits will be brain washed, lose money, quit and become weary of network marketing….so the battle continues. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out though.
Greg Duncan has a ridiculous income $$$!!!!:) He makes more in a month than top CEO's and executives earn in a year..
Quixtar will stay but the AMWAY brand is coming full force to the states. Quixtar will be a marketing force for the the AMWAY brand along with XS and NUTRILITE and soo on.
Possibly…..
I am always curious why they do not go back to marketing the brand AMWAY! They need to get everyone proud of that name and market it…
I know the negative overtones, but there are new generations coming up…spend some money on branding and make the name "American Way" a strength.

No selling on the call, no affilations with anyone!
I only have one major issue with this prediction… World Wide Group is showing great enthusiasm for the change to "The New AmWay". Whether this enthusiasm is an act or not, it would be very poor business if any of the diamonds or above were going to purchase the Quixtar name as everyone they are preaching so positively to about the change make up the basis of their business. I don't see any major business leader being dumb enough to advertise their greatest future competitor as 'the better option' to everyone in their business.
What choice does WorldWide have?
They must show "great enthusiasm" or they lose people like you to companies that will actually train you for free and pay you better for your efforts.
By the way, this post was made before the announcement that Quixtar was changing back to Amway…
